It is true that when you arrive by the bridge and see this imposing building on the right, it makes you want to turn around, well, the cost of renovating such a facade must be severe but it is about time to think about it. OK hotel but 3 stars, €139 per room, €16 for breakfast, (€10 everywhere else where we stopped) with a wooden log as a bedside table, no one at reception when we arrived, only 'we had to wait a good while, the TV remote control didn't work, the two coffee machines broke down in the morning, and a motor or ventilation noise throughout the beginning of the night probably coming from a neighboring room , so all of this is still a little annoying given the price paid and the number of stars. Good breakfast despite everything, decent room and nice location on the banks of the Tarn.

We were once again at the Moulin de Moissac. The building is magnificent with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Tarn. The restaurant is very welcoming and the breakfast perfect. The welcome is professional and friendly. Our disappointment is the decoration of the rooms. The rooms are cold. They deserve a painting or two, an armchair or a small table and two chairs...in short, a little decoration that makes them more welcoming. This magnificent building deserves more beautiful rooms. Damage...

Nice rooms but persistent noise from the vmc all night so difficult to sleep properly. As well as a 17 degree room on arrival and quite complicated adjustment Because of a remote control air conditioning rather outdated. Similarly a breakfast at 16 euros but not very hearty considering the price

Sitting on the bank of the River Tarn, about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Moissac, the Hotel is very comfortable with clean, well-fitted rooms (inc TV and electric kettle) and very fast wifi. There is a goodly amount of free, public parking right next to the hotel and the location is very quiet at night, with no through traffic and only a small amount of noise from the nearby bridge. The restaurant serves excellent food (and a good breakfast) but is slightly dearer than some of the local restaurants - but the service is 5-star and the cooking is excellent. The whole team and helpful. We definitely intend to go back there. Sadly we didn't have time to try the spa, but the price list left in the room indicated that a lot of pampering is possible ! Happy to recommend the hotel.

Dear Clibil, Thank you for this very nice comment. What better reward than to read your complete satisfaction. You have accurately described the atmosphere of the hotel where calm, serenity and conviviality reign. We are delighted that you have appreciated the comfort of our rooms, the facilities and the peace and quiet that we are fortunate to enjoy. Our restaurant, M.1474, offers quality dishes with fresh and local products. This is a point we really care about. Thank you for complimenting our staff, I hope you have asked them their best advice for visiting the area. The Cloister of Moissac in particular is a must-see. The whole team looks forward to welcoming you back to the Moulin de Moissac for a relaxing break in our spa. Lydie Dass Arcole General Manager Hôtel & Spa Le Moulin de Moissac *** +335 63 32 88 88

We chose this establishment thanks to a Wonderbox, but upon our arrival, the welcome unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. It was clear that we were not as welcome as other guests. Although the rooms were OK, those included in the box were not available, so we opted for a superior room for an extra charge of €60. However, this left us perplexed, because the price difference on the official website was only €40, which seemed strange to us.
As for the room, it was rather cold, although well soundproofed. In addition, access to the spa, initially scheduled for 1 hour, has been reduced to 30 minutes. We were also informed after the spa experience that bathrobes were not included in the Wonderbox packages, and that they were available for a fee of €9 each. However, the idea of having to walk through the entire hotel, wait at reception in the cold to access the spa and pay extra for bathrobes did not seem like quality service to us.
As for the spa, the jacuzzis were cold and the saunas were unpleasant, making the overall experience disappointing. Now let's talk about the restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but the pork was dry, and the sauce accompanying the foie gras flank steak had no foie gras flavor. In addition, the choice of red wine to accompany it was not good, without anyone asking us if it suited us.
Although the portions of the dishes were decent, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. For breakfast, nothing special to report, it was just ok.
In conclusion, our stay was not as pleasant as we hoped. Greeting issues, room confusion, spa inconveniences, and culinary disappointments contributed to an experience that would not prompt us to recommend this establishment. We hope that this feedback can be taken into account to improve services and overall customer experience in the future.

Christmas dinner 2024. After booking more than two months before our table, we arrive around 12:30 , the day before we took care to confirm our reservation! When we arrive the room is full there is only one unfortunate table left in the middle of the entrance, of course on a table that no one had wanted! We explain that we booked a long time ago, regular customers, and hoped for a better place! Already, when we first booked at the end of October, we had mentioned the wish for a table , which we used to occupy, with a nice view of the Tarn that we were refused? Faced with our discontent, we quickly pull two tables that we gather in the corner of the room. Tablecloth without tablecloth with unfortunate set of tables , some tables set correctly with fabric tablecloth and us for a day of holidays set and paper napkin! I choose a 0.5 litre bottle of white wine presented à la carte as the start of a meal for the fish. There are 4 of us and only 2 of us drink wine, they carry me a bucket with a pitcher of wine in the ice! In front of my astonishment I am explained that the wine sold in bottle of 0,5 liter is presented like this! As a result of the shopping a two-course meal and dessert à la carte for 70 euros per person on average, without any appetizers, baclé service and for the outing a biscuit Saint Michel under plastic in the cafe. Bravo and Merry Christmas!!! It is not necessary to answer with your answers ready made of circumstances, I am a big fan of cooking and good tables , I will not return to your establishment, your commercial approach is totally to be reviewed.

I recently stayed at Le Moulin De Mossaic, and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. During a sweltering weekend in August, the hotel’s air conditioning was broken, leaving the rooms unbearably hot. Shockingly, the staff suggested we sleep with our doors open to help cool the room down, which, unsurprisingly, led to us being bitten by mosquitoes all night.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, they turned off the water supply at one point, leaving us without running water. On a busy Saturday lunchtime, we were told there was no staff available, so we couldn’t even get a drink at the bar. The lack of a minibar in the room and the absence of room service only added to our frustration.
The most concerning aspect was that during this critical situation, with the hotel full of guests, the General Manager was nowhere to be found. For a hotel to have such severe issues and no management present to address them is simply unacceptable. I asked to speak to the GM on the phone and was told it was ‘impossible’. Eventually the GM did call however by that point we had left the hotel for the day. Despite these significant issues, the only compensation offered was 10% off a drinks bill—nowhere near enough to make up for the discomfort and inconvenience. I would strongly advise against staying here unless they make drastic improvements to their facilities and customer service.

Response from Direction Moulin de Moissac, Propriétaire at Le Moulin De Moissac
Responded 9 Sept 2024
Dear Guest, I am sorry that you feel so strongly about your stay with us and that you have taken the trouble to post your review on two different platforms. During the weekend that you spent with us, we did indeed experience a breakdown in the air conditioning, which is very rare indeed. We regret this incident as much as you do, and are sorry that our suggestion of opening the windows to remedy the situation earned you a few mosquito bites. Our location on the banks of the river Tarn offers many advantages, but does encourage the presence of these pests. The water supply was turned off, but only for an hour. We hope this didn't cause too much inconvenience. As far as the management of these events is concerned, I myself have made several attempts to meet you and contact you to discuss the matter and propose a solution. Unfortunately, all my attempts have been in vain, with no response from you. However, I regret that you were unable to relax in the bar. This matter will be raised internally to ensure that this type of situation does not recur. I hope that you have fond memories of your stay in Moissac. This Thursday, May 30, my birthday, a friend from Haute Loire, on vacation with us, wants to offer us a restaurant and asks us for advice.....immediately we suggest "Le Moulin de Moissac" knowing it having been there several times, and always satisfied. What a mistake !!!!! , we are offered the cocktail of the day as an aperitif: a mojito.....being amateurs all three, we say OK.....we drank lemon water with a little mint....not a drop of rum...the waitress tells us that there is 4cl of rum...nope, then comes the fillet of beef heart dish (not far from €30 per dish!!) which is nerve-wracking. ...the one who asked for it medium rare got it rare and vice versa...As for dessert, my friend had asked for a birthday plate when reserving.....forgotten or not noted????? We thought about Video Gag.......in this case my friend would not have paid.....and no it was very real.......and so the last time we will go at the Moulin.......I think I wouldn't advertise it......far from it......really disappointed 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞

An exceptional location on the Tarn but a fairly amateur management. The room was large but poorly furnished, no table just a console, a bad mulched chair and a camping chair... Surprising: to get an idea of the spa you had to pay an entrance fee of one hour! As we only stayed two days it was necessary to insist that the room was made! We should have made that clear in advance!

3 star hotel Charming welcome, lovely view... Reserved for 2 adults + 1 teenager, On arrival the receptionist changes the reservation to 3. Everything is paid for: parking, SPA services. No swimming pool. Maybe rethink at least!! Arrival in the spacious, bright, well-appointed room. A coffee maker available, but the water and used capsules tank not emptied.. And when putting the sofa into a bed, normally intended for the teenager, surprise: the sheet is not changed, therefore dirty ++ and a little gift under the sofa bed....fiouuuu!! Quick cleaning!! The very kind receptionist was informed and took photos (me too). Gave us what we needed. The housekeeping leaves a little to be desired... Very good varied breakfast.

Hi, they have a secure car park which I think you have to pay for but we traveled down in a Motorhome and parked outside the hotel which felt very safe for us. I hope that helps
If you email the hotel they are amazingly helpful and I am sure they will answer your questions
We stayed in the suites when we were there and had an amazing time. I hope you do too :)
