However we entered to find our room was modern and clean. Our room overlooked part of the sea and a hillside. Our room was above the public bar and we...

Very good location on our NC500 road trip. Welcoming owner, good room with ensuite looking out to the bay. Unfortunately it was the night of the Hoolie (winds of over 70 miles an hour) so weather not the best!!! Excellent food, can reccomend the Lamb Shanks. Very good breakfast.

Just had one night here on a tour round the northern and western coast, Owner was very helpful and facilities in the hotel are good. All staff very helpful and pleasant. Good bar meal and breakfast, Hotel needs a little updating in some areas, but did not detract from the stay.

Spent one night here on my Highland Tour. The single room was comfortable with a fantastic view of the bay - especially at sunset. WiFi in the room was excellent. Dinner of Sirloin steak was lovely. I was tempted to go for the hot chocolate fudge cake for dessert but the waitress recommended the Creme Brulee. While not something I'd...

Rooms are spacious and well equipped with all you would need. Wifi in bedroom wasnt great but too be honest, you are not there to be on your PC...

We stayed here for 1 night in a double room with shared facilities, the room was very nice, clean and comfy. The shared facilities were very clean and never busy. The hotel was been extensively renovated to a decent 3* standard throughout with commanding views across the bay. The bar is cosy with good beer and other drinks available, the...

Book well in advance for this smashing hotel. Hotel is almost 250 years old but the rooms are modern and clean. Free wifi in social areas with bedrooms being served next year, according to Chris, who gave us a full tour of the hotel on our arrival. The food was lovely and reasonably priced as was the nightly rate for...

This is an old hotel that is being modernised and updated. The room we had was large with a very comfy bed and a great view of the ocean. The owners and staff are all friendly, helpful and very informative about the area - they really made us feel so welcome. The bar has a friendly relaxed feel to it...
