We were going to a friends 50th and also because it was our anniversary we booked their 4 poster room 5 days in advance. Got the email confirmation so assumed that would secure your room. Oh no it doesn't. And to be honest the response was "well not a lot I can do its a technical glitch". To be honest...

Stayed here on business, let's call it a pub with some bedrooms because hotel is pushing it! On arrival couldn't find reception but lady very pleasant when I found it. Small bar area and nice looking restaurant but the room was an eye opener. VERY small, so small in fact that there was nowhere to put up an ironing board,...

Stayed one night. Rooms are decorated to reflect the period of the hotel. My room had a double bed and other antique furniture. Small but enough for a short stay. Room clean as was bath/shower. Difficult to find fault as it was a pleasant stay, Had little to do with staff, the man behind the bar was friendly enough, free...

On check in staff polite but during stay very rude and felt like they were looking down there noses At us...and clearly don't pay any attention to guest and judge people We're very comfortable money wise but are down to earth and don't act stuck up in anyway at all. Clearly they thought we were poor..not that it should matter...

Plenty of character and period charm, we stayed for one night during August 2014. The hotel was busy and quite lively but retained a calm and relaxed feel. Book in advance to be sure of a table in the restaurant. The bar has local ales, try the Green Devil. Parking is available adjacent to the hotel, maximum cost was £3.20...

This is the third time we have been for a meal and we would highly recommend the restaurant for quality and value. A must try venue. The updated dining room is excellent. It is a half way meeting point for our family. The kings from nottingham and the dances from towcester.

We stayed overnight in the Greyhound Coaching Inn, in late June this year. Before checking in, there is one thing that all travellers should know; there is no parking at this hotel. The directions we were provided with were good. It real is very easily accessed from the motorway and, when you’re close, there’s a brown sign indicating the last...

One night stay on business. What a delightful place , full of character and lovely atmosphere. Totally unexpected. Room was small and bathroom small but the rest of the place did make up for it and more. Great staff especially the girl in the bar who made our evening fun. Good cooked breakfast and choice. Lovely place

My father (94) and I travelled to the Greyhound from Liverpool to meet his cousin (92) and my cousin who travelled from London. We couldnt fault the Sunday roast---such good value---even the chef came out to see if the meals were up to scratch. The staff were excellent and let us stay at our table to look at old photos...
