The staff is very friendly and polite, the food is ok, the rooms are expensive and you don't get the service for the price you paid. The beds are very uncomfortable, and cheaply made. There are no one available after hours. There are no phones in the room, front desk is never available, and the worst part, there are no... More

We stayed at Le Recul Hotel for one night in the last week of august 2015. The staff is friendly and very courteous. The local is quiet and beautiful but the rooms are expensive ($88/night for a standard room). In addition, customers don't get enough for their money. The pool was out of use. Everything in the room was cheap:... More

It's been a long time since I've seen such a disaster in management. We reserved 2 weeks in advance and had a written confirmation from the owner but when we showed up (after a 4.5 hour drive with a 2-year old) they didn't have a record of our reservation and that was somehow our fault that the owner failed to... Le Recul is a hotel that is several hours away from the main city of Port-au-Prince. Honestly it is not worth the drive. Upon arrival to the hotel, the generator was not working so there was no power. Later the power came on, but it was virtually useless as I only found two working channels on the television. On the... The toilets didn't flush, the shower curtain was cheap and too short so the floor got soaked, electricity went out several times, there is a rooster that begins his shenanigans @ 4am every morning. The ac went out and we were offered a broken fan. The TV did not work and the people were rude. The pool is across the... More

For all their advertising, Le Recul in Camp Perrin, Haiti is the worst hotel to stay in. I spent 6 days there during St Anne celebration's week for $88 American $ per day. My reservation and that of my mother and sister were not there when I spoke to the owner directly 1-month in advance. When we arrived the front... More

A nice oasis in the middle of a land of no utilities. Air conditioning, plumbing, clean, nicely decorated.
