This was my boyfriend and I's 2nd visit to Surfside Inn...again it was Wonderful! We stayed during Hurricane Arthur but it was still an amazing and romantic experience. We were welcomed with a couple of complimentary roses and rose petals sprinkling the Jacuzzi tub <3 and champagne and delicious handmade truffles (which I totally recommend upgrading too). We very much...

No we did not expect power at this Inn, what we did expect though was maybe a bottle of water to brush our teeth, maybe a flashlight in our room instead of total darkness in a strange environment. We were not asked once after it got dark if there was anything we needed! We were also expected to pay the...

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary on a very quiet Wednesday night. I think we were the only guests. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to their best suite, which was a lovely, large room. We chose the romance package and received chilled sparking wine, chocolates and a lovely note wishing us a happy anniversary. There was a...

This is a delightful B&B ,our hosts were very warm and welcoming. My husband and I were married in PEI and planned our honeymoon in Nova Scotia at the Surfside Inn. We had ordered the Romantic Package and found a bottle of Champagne chilled and chocolates upon our arrival. Dinner was perfection and the ambience of the parlour was wonderful.We...

This is a great place to stay! If you are planning on exploring different places in Nova Scotia this is a great place because its relatively close to most things in the south of the province and it is relatively close to Halifax as well. The beach right across the street is small but very nice and very close to...

We just returned from Surfside Inn. It was very nice! The inn-keeping family was very nice, friendly and welcoming :) Our room (Surfside Retreat) had it's own entrance and we had our own sitting area as well- Bonus! Bed was advertised as a queen but it was only a double I didn't mind but some may. Also, advertised having handmade...

We just returned from our first trip to Nova Scotia. We just picked a location, and we picked the right one. Nova Scotia is lovely. Our whole stay was at the Surfside Inn. The innkeeping family was warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and very near the beach. Located on the South Shore, it is a perfect location to...

Our visit was prompted by travels in the area and reading mostly positive reviews about he property on Trip Advisor. Our experience was less positive, although our visit was not fraught with any real problems. It's just that the property did not live up to our expectations. We expected a romantic seaside inn, but found an old (built circa 1880)...

We've stayed at quite a few B&B's on our trip so far, and this one was one of the more expensive ones. We have stayed at nicer places for better prices. Dinner was way overpriced for only mediocre food. I had salmon, which was fairly good, but my dad had steak which was quite tough and not worth 26$. Breakfast...
