We stayed 2 weeks at this place. Indeed nice location in the middle of sicilian landscape (vineyard, oliveyards... even snakes, bees ..) Host is very friendly. The big disadvantage there is only a small kitchen in the little house. So lucky we could sit outside under a roof covered by leaves. But it was windy out there and bit cold... More

Hello, thanks for your opinion. I'am sorry. Maybe I am not exhaustive in explaining when you arrived. You could use, in addition your kitchen (depandance), the commun kitchen and living room in the Baglio. regards Fabio More

One of the most beautiful places we have seen in Sicily. Full of plants and flowers. The room had a very nice interior. The breakfast was incredibly good. They also have a nice pool area in the garden. Definately recommended.

Case Colomba sits in a wonderful and peaceful countryside. It is simple place, that offers comfortable simple rooms, it is very quiet and charming. It is a very short drive away from the most beautiful sites and beaches of western Sicily. Egadi islands are also very close. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. We will go back. Case... First stay of our holiday. Nice place and centrally located. Good breakfast with rural products. Owner Fabio knows the environment well and gave helpful tips for dinner etc. Not sure whether it's good value for money as we could not compare with other locations. We paid 70 euro which seems fine. Clean room with own terrace. Free wifi but limited... More

We've been strongly disappointed by this B&B (not an agriturismo) Main reproach is the 30% overprice (compared to other places in Sicilia we've stayed in) considering the basic and charmless rooms (which are cleans by the way) Second reproach is the dirtiness of the swimming pool which clearly denotes a lack of preocupation towards guests The owner has very good... This bed and breakfast is situated about 30 kilometers from Trapani airport. We stayed 3 nights. Great hospitality, very helpfull. The bedroom/bathroom with kichen was really nice. Good swimmingpool. Good breakfast. Beautiful landscape. Situated near places of interest like Erice, Segesta, Zingaro reserve with beautiful beaches (also nice walkingpath), Monte Cofano and San Vito lo Capo.

We spent just 2 nights in Case Colomba, but it was enough to enjoy friendly and so helpful sicilian hospitality. If you want to relax and to enjoy the silence and beautiful sicilian nature , this is the right adress! ;-) The breakfast typical sicilian style, and the possibility to cook your own meal/dinner in the kitchen of Case Colomba... BUSETO PALIZZOLO is well positioned to visit Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Monreale and western Sicily. Case Colomba is a cluster of attractive farm buildings, restored to a high standard, set in lovely natural gardens. We rented a bedroom/bathroom with kitchen at a very reasonable price and were self contained and oh so cosy and warm in November. They will do a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Baglio Case Colomba' is situated in the hills of western Sicily. In ancient times, the road linking the important Elymian cities of Erice and Segesta passed through the area. The rustic farmhouse, built around a courtyard, dates from the end of the nineteenth century. Despite recent renovations, all of its original features have been preserved intact. The property is surrounded by lush orchards that produce a variety of fruits all year round. Fresh farm produce can also be bought from neighbouring houses. 'Baglio Case Colomba' is an ideal starting point for unforgettable day-trips to many places of cultural and historical interest and to the Nature Reserves of western Sicily, so you can alternate between days spent walking or relaxing in the beautiful countryside dotted with small villages, farms and medieval castles, and excursions by sea and by land to explore the scenic coastline. Places not to be missed include: the archaeological sites of Selinunte (the largest Greek colony in Western Sicily), Segesta, an ancient Elymian settlement, with its Doric temple and magnificent amphitheatre, Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples, the island of Mothia, the Cusa Quarries, the towns of Erice, Marsala, Trapani and Palermo. The many attractions along the spectacular coastline include: the wide sandy beach, stunning bay and crystal-clear waters of the popular resort of San Vito Lo Capo, 'Guidaloca' beach and 'I Faraglioni' (rock stacks rising from the sea) at Scopello, the small coves and inlets in the Zingaro Nature Reserve, the bay at Makari, the magnificent Egadi archipelago, the Trapani salt mines and the Stagnone Lagoon islands. In perfect harmony with this abundance of unspoilt nature, traces of human activities of days long gone can be seen in old tuna farms, watermills and small harbours, testimony to the strong ties that have always bound Sicily's populations to this rich and beautiful land. ... more   less
