We did not stay in this Agriturismo, we went for a meal and to be shown a film on the Tuna fishing industry in Sicily and to taste the wine. The buildings were very old and had been in the same family for centuries. We were shown the old wine presses and various pieces of equipment, it's rather like a...

Stay away from this place. Looks great in pics, but falls far short of the expected. We booked for a week - the owner assured us price included use of pool with its outdoor furniture, tennis courts, dining room. When we arrived the pool was a green morass. Ok, we came for french spring break so not prime tourist time...

Beautiful buildings and rooms decorated and furnished very traditionally with local tiles and paintwork. Interesting antiques on display. Evening meal was okay but not memorable. Ditto with breakfast although the coffee was good. Interesting place to stay but don't expect modern facilities

Although it's a beautiful building the glory days we think date from app. 10 years ago or even longer. Maintenance is at a low level and some small repairs were done only in the area and at the time where the owner and his friends came over to have their own privat party. The pictures on the website are the...

If ever there was a "how good could this place be with better management" situation, this is it! The buildings (and my room) were lovely, the views stunning and the general location all led towards a lovely stay but sadly very poor management (understaffed) and ridiculously high costs for a very average evening meal (probably the most expensive meal I...

We stayed 1 night at agriturismo baglia fontana. The first impression was very positive. However, a close look reveals that it's an unclean place. As soon as we checked in, they asked us if we wanted to have dinner in their restaurant. Unfortunately, we agreed. The food was really disappointing and rather expensive compared to other places in this region....

Even though we have become accustomed otherwise this is how an agriturismo should look and feel. The facilities are comfortable but rough, just as staying in a working farm should feel like. We stayed at a big room (#14) with two floors and space for four. The feeling was as if we're staying at a renovated barn (I think that...

We stayed 3 nights with a family of 2 kids and thoroughly enjoyed it. The manager is named Francesco. He was incredibly helpful and spoke pretty good English (better than our Italian!). Our room had a loft with 2 single beds for the kids and the room was fairly large compared to other places we have stayed. The place was...

We found the hotel and the staff second to none in our 30 days in Sicily. Staff willing to alter dinner time to suit. The kitchen is very good. Just tell them what you like. Our room was spacious, had frig, good shower, wardrobe, ground level garden exit with seating, pool. All very well kept. The bed was good king...

Nicely renovated "baglio" which is a fortress-like medieval farmhouse. We resided in the stallo, supposingly one of their most beautiful appartments. It was very charming. The housekeeper Francesco was very welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast was abundant. they served homemade jam, fresh bread and cornetti from the pasticceria. We got attracted to the place by their professional homepage with beautiful pictures....
