We stayed for one night after arriving on our lengthy flight from South Africa and visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. It was the ideal place to relax with stunning scenery after the long flight and day of sightseeing. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast the following morning was excellent. Will definitely return in the future.

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and well-maintained hotel. Impressive surroundings with mountains and lakes. We used it as a stop-over on our way to italy, but it would make a nice holiday destination.

We stayed for two nights while we toured the area. This is an ideal location from which to see the castles. The town is a half mile up the road and has many nice restaurants. The property is immaculate! The rooms are great! There is nothing to improve here - it is all like stepping into a model of a...

Do not be put off that this is a few km outside of Fussen. The accommodation is fabulous, clean, spacious and the owner is very friendly and helpful. This is without doubt the most picturesque place I have stayed on the continent and there are a few gasthaus and eateries within walking distance. To explore Fussen and the wonderful konigschlossen...

Over the years I have enjoyed the home-like hospitality of the Heim family and as often as I can I use this pension as a base for 3 or 4 days. The area is filled with a fantastic variety of sights, activities and experiences and you always enjoy the serenity, service and solitude of the village and your hotel at...

My husband & I found Pension Heim on our first trip to Germany in 1994 & we NEVER miss a chance to return here when we are in Germany - our last visit was August, 2011. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean & some afford spectactular views of the Bavarian Alps for a resonable price. Warm welcomes by the family,...

We spent 4 nights here in July and enjoyed our stay. Seeg is a small village about 10-15 minutes from Fussen and we enjoyed being away from all the tourism in much of Bavaria. Our room was nice with a view to the foothhills of the Alps and the little train that runs back and forth from somewhere. Sunsets out...

Pension Heim is a small family run hotel located in Seeg Bavaria. This is an excellent location from which you can visit the Royal castles and the Weis. No restaurant in the hotel but there are a number of typical Bavarian style places to eat in the village. All are within walking distance. Some rooms have a view of the...

“Get a south room, you will see the Alps from your patio. They have an honor bar; a good drink for little money.”

“Even though all rooms are very nice the rooms with a view of the mountains and small balconies are the best! The mountain views are ever changing and breathtaking! Never miss the wonderful breakfasts the Heim's provide for their guests!!! Take advantage of the valuable knowledge your hosts have about sight-seeing and dining in the area. Morning and evening walks in the town are refreshing and be sure to visit their church.”
