We spent the last 2 nights of a week trekking in the Pyrenees here last week. What a fantastic location, spacious elegant and spotless room with fantastic views and lovely ensure bathroom with a bath the could fit 2 if you were so inclined!! Lovely breakfast (extra 8 euros but worth it) and really warm helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

This hotel is situated on the main plaza of the old town. You need a pass card from the hotel to drive your car onto the plaza in order to unload your luggage. No big problem but you have to walk a while to the free parking lot from the city. A pass must be left in the car from... More

The town of Ainsa is the perfect place to unwind after hiking in the nearby Pyrenees. A unique blend of Spanish history, excellent Spanish cuisine, wine and wellbeing. Worth staying there for two or three days. The hotel provides exceptional accommodation in the heart of the historic part of the town Ainsa. Spacious, very comfortable and elegantly furnished rooms and... More

We had the room on first floor overlooking the square and loved it. The room was very comfortable and easy to spend time in watching and listening to the passing parade of people below. Breakfast was served in the square and was more than ample and good quality, local meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, toast and selection of jams and... More

We stayed here as we traveled by car from San Sebastián to Barcelona. The location, although quite a drive, is well worth the time. Once you get there be sure to book an outdoor adventure. The hotel is in an ancient fort which is fun to explore. Clean, easy to access and our room on the mountain side had great... More

We visited in early May. Weather was fantastic, which was lucky b/c it didn't seem like the a/c worked. We kept the windows open to the amazing view of the mountains, and got a couple of bugs for our trouble. But these are minor points. The positives so far exceeded our expectations that I'm happy to give this place 5... More

Huge attic room with view to the mountains (which we asked for when booking!) No elevator so good exercise carrying up all our luggage. Very good value for money, but a few small niggles: there was dust on the louvres, the wifi didn't work until we noticed the switch was off, they had problems processing my credit card, and the... Some of the recent reviews have been slightly critical of the hotel, and whilst their criticisms may have some basis, I think that the reviewers may have been expecting something that in fairness is not on offer. This is a small, 6 bedroom hotel, privately run, and really no more than a Chambre d’Hote style of place. The rooms are... More

It is sad to have to give this lovely little hotel only three stars, but whereas we loved it, we felt there were certainly thing to be sorted out. First, the many positives: Sylvia the lovely, helpful manager/receptionist is charming. Her English is limited, as is our Spanish, but it was easy enough to make ourselves understood. She contacted us... More

I was here for a family holiday. I had booked for two nights, but reduced it to one. Let me first say the good things:- (1) Location is incredible. The hotel is ON the Town Square. The Town Square is very pretty. (2) The rooms are cosy, and the hotel is eclectically designed. (3) Some of the staff are very... More
