I have eaten here a few times during a project in the town of Sezanne and it is a pleasure. The staff are friendly and speak some English. The menu is well thought out with local delghts such as fricasee of snails, but also the standard fare for those feeling less adventurous. I choose the Chef's specials generally, and have...

Back to one of our favourite hotels. The welcome is always warm and friendly. The apartment, Room 14, has been redecorated and is more comfortable than before. What can one say about the food? Well I say it is excellent, as is the service, and the wines are again exclellent. Really a wonderful family run hotel

Excellent food, wine, champagne, and service! All at a reasonable price! The reception was wonderful and everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. We returned after seven years and were as pleased as before! Hope we don't have to wait another seven years to enjoy their exceptionally good food and wonderful hospitality! A great place to stay en route to CDG...

Small room, small bed, tidy bathroom. Forget the bedding and the mattress. Forget the wify : cranky passcode, works for one device only, does not work in room, and .. no longer works the following morning. Dinner was better than lodging, but dear for what you get. As an apetizer I had a tasty warm goat cheese salad : tasty,...

Stayed here two nights on my way to the south. The hotel looks good. Freshly painted and well taken care of. The room is small but comfortable and the bathroom has all the amenities you need. The best I have seen in this class so far. I dined in the restaurant two nights and was stunned by the quality and...

We stumbled across this hotel on way home from trip to the alps and must say what a nice hotel English spoken, nice rooms and garage or behind locked gate parking. We stayed in room 14 which is like a apartment that sleeps 4 great value.

We stayed here for 2 nights on the special deal and had two absolutely great meals. Both were well balanced and the wine was "reasonable" for a restaurant. The owner/chef came to make sue all was well. Excellent staff plus a good breakfast so we will be going back again.

We enjoyed our overnight stay, but could recognise why other reviewers had said some of the things they have. Our room was in a separate block behind the hotel, smartly decorated, a reasonable size, quiet and comfortable. Our welcome had been reasonably friendly, but the impression was that Madame could not sustain the friendliness for more than about a minute....

Poor value at 93 euros for B&B for the two of us, almost just bread, jam and coffee. Evening meal very nice but expensive. Also for cost of room we should have been able to make at least some coffee, but no falcilaties. Could do better!

Au contraire some of the previous reviewers, my wife and I had a lovely experience at Le Relais Champenois. We dropped in without reservation at 21:30 hours, just as the kitchen was about to close. We checked the room before considering to stay or not, as offered by one of the owners, an elegant French lady that speaks fluent English....
