We stayed here because it was close to Mont St Michel and it seemed cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. But in retrospect, it was not worth it, the room and the hotel were dated and not particularly clean. The bed was not comfortable at all and the bathroom door didn't close. The lamp in the bathroom...

This hotel is located on one of the main roads to Mont St Michel surrounded in lovely countryside, although it says it has a restaurant it does not, however, you can get breakfast and there is a bar if you would like a drink in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants around the local area so you will never...

Owner Josiane Hammon is dedicated to making your stay comfortable. She is a very good cook and pays attention to detail. Rooms are simple but clean; bathrooms are impeccable. I look forward to staying there again on 3/15/14.

Very unimpressed with this hotel. We booked it because it was near to Mont St Michel, looked cheap and advertised as having a bar and restaurant serving local cider and dishes so it sounded great. The room was not good but not awful, clean but very dated and shabby, the bathroom door didn't close and the reading lamps and the...

We stayed at the hotel for one night on the way to Mont Saint Michel. We had a family room which seemed to double as the wheelchair accessible room. The room was large and the bathroom spacious. It needed a good dust and the decor was very outdated but beds were comfy. The shower was truly terrible. The one thing...

I have come to this hotel yearly since 2006 with a group of university students. Service, food, and accommodation are perfect. The owner makes everyone feel welcome. This hotel has excellent value and its location is perfect near Avranche (with stores, doctors, and major hospital) and about 12 kilometers to Mont Saint Michel one of the most visited touristic attractions in France.

We were originally due to stay at this hotel for 3 nights to see in New Year, however due to car trouble we weren't able to arrive until New Years Eve - 1 night late. The hotel were understanding and agreed to only charge 1/2 the room night for the night we didn't turn up which was appreciated. The hotel...

I spent a night at this hotel last week, and had been not looking forward to it after reading the other reviews. BUT as soon as I arrived, I realised that the other reviews were probably written by travellers who are not familiar with the Logis de France concept. I live in France and use Logis a lot - they...

Highlights: free parking on hotel premises, at relatively short driving distance from Mont St. Michel (~10 km), friendly hotel manager Lowlights: insufficient hygiene, insufficient quality of room, insufficient quality of breakfast The hotel manager was very friendly and it was the end of the day during a very crowded Easter weekend and we expected it would be hard to find...
