I don’t understand the negative reviews. The room sizes are as described, so no surprises there, and everywhere charges 3% for credit cards, as far as I’ve experienced.
The rooms are immaculate and serviced every day and the air on is quiet and efficient. The set breakfast at 150B is better value than anywhere else you might find. If you ask for a room at the back it might be a bit dark but very quiet, even the cockerels don’t wake up until 6, unlike elsewhere. I was sent with my laundry to the place next door, back in 24 hours.
The staff are excellent (Ning, Bao, Susu), and the free taxi service works brilliantly. It’s not really the place to come for reliable WiFi but apart from that my only disappointment was that despite messaging twice through booking.com nobody met me from the speedboat, and if you have a bag on wheels it’s quite a long walk carrying everything until you get to the start of the paved road where the taxis wait.
Shop around, though, some sites were much cheaper than others but it didn’t seem to be full when I was there and the walk in price is better.

I wish I could find something to recommend this establishment. I chose to stay here based partly on price and partly on the reviews I had read, however I was very disappointed with the guest house.

The guest house is in serious need of a refurb or upgrade. It doesn’t look as though it has had any money spent on it since it was opened.

The bedrooms are very very tiny and the bathrooms just about acceptable.

The reception/dining area is very basic and closes arly every evening.

The guest house charges 3% for any payment by credit or debit card

We moved after a few days and found much better and much cheaper accommodation.

As I say, sadly I really couldn’t recommend this guest house to anyone

Location is only 5 mins by motor taxi from ferry port. This accommodation is also close to Main Street and beaches.

Cleanliness of room is also perfect. On top of that staffs are very hospitable. I really liked if we want to go to beach they recommended us to visit pattaya beach but away from main pattaya beach. It was completely quiet and less people. Once mentioned pick up time the staff came to pick us up on time.

Definitely I will come back again. Thank you so much.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in the start of December and we loved it! We originally booked for 4 night but ended up staying for 6. The offer a really good breakfast where you get to chose a set meal which comes with coffee and fresh orange juice. Would highly recommend the omelette! Even though the hotel is located in the middle of the island this can be a plus it means you have equal distance to all beaches and you are very close to the main Street. They offer a free taxi service to where ever your going the island and the guys who drive the taxi are some of the nicest people I've met! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with apsalutely everything. Cleaning was impeccable. The rooms are small but they were perfect for us! The also have free snorkling equipment and beach mats which you can take with you for the day, this was a great plus not needing to rent them!

Can't recommend this place enough, they will go out of there way to make your holiday the best it can be.

Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed in The Noi Guesthouse for 9 days, two double rooms - paid €495 in total (got a considerable discount as a result of our long stay + the low season officially starts May 15th). We stayed upstairs in room 18 & 20.

Location is good too, you're about a 5min walk to the middle of Walking Street, about 10ish min walk to Sunset, Sunrise and Pattaya Beach approx.

The room itself comes with a TV (mainly Thai TV stations only), kettle, electric safe (note: it's not affixed to anything so it's easily removed from the room so a little defunct imo), decent AC unit (with fan function also), small fridge and small storage area also.
Sockets in the room all worked fine but you might find difficulty with heavy plugs staying in their socket sometimes.

Bathroom is long but narrow enough, shower area has a set of shutters to catch splash back while using it, good pressure and temperature. Sink tap water is room temperature only. Would recommend you keep the bathroom door closed if using AC as it'll take the unit longer to cool the bedroom down otherwise.
We also notice a funny smell from bathroom sometimes (shower drain slow to drain perhaps?, we weren't 100% sure). This is fine once you keep the door closed though.
Also note (this didn't bother us) but the toilet itself is positioned sideways so as to more efficiently use the space within the bathroom however worth noting if you having a bigger bathroom is a priority for you

Room cleaning on request, just leave the "Please Clean" sign on front door when you leave the room. Everytime we requested it, the room was always cleaned well and smelled fresh, towels replaced and free water replenished each day also.

In general, the staff are very friendly and approachable and always willing to help with any questions we had for them. They spoke decent English also. We had a few different documents that we needed printed off without any fee or fuss.

There is a nice common area upstairs to lounge in, with two hammocks, a comfortable three
-seater couch and a few sets of table and chairs.

The Noi also offers a free moto shuttle service which is very convenient for getting dropped to the various beaches around the island (not a massive walk if they're not available however).

Laundry service is also provided, 60TBH/KG, clothes were returned within 24hrs and smelling fresh.

One negative was that the Wi-Fi was quite patchy (we had local True sim cards so didn't have to rely upon Wi-Fi). The signal strength was fine but the connection itself wasn't reliable and tended to cut off for long periods of time, on and off.

There is an in-house restaurant also, we only had food here the once on the day we arrived (food was reasonably priced and tasty) however most days there was a sign saying "kitchen closed", presumably because it was low season and there wasn't heavy footfall in this location.

Overall, we would return to stay in The Noi if returning to Koh Lipe given the friendly staff, quality of accommodation and relative good location.

Booked here for a 3 day 2 nights diving trip. We got picked up by a hotel staff after going through the immigration, which was a delight. Once arrived, we were offered welcome drinks before ushered to our room. The room was already ice-cooled as the air-con was on before we checked in. :) The room was quite tiny but had most of things we needed, bar fridge, TV and some shelves for storage. The shower/toilet was adequate but the we suspected that the piping system was connected to the sewer, therefore rendering the bathroom to a foul smell all the time. Breakfast was provided, delicious and healthy, 6 menu to choose from , western, thai or just plain muesli. The distance to walking street was good. And the free wifi signal was very good. Overall, a great hotel if they sort out the smelly bathroom issue.

we were pleasantly surprised with this very clean, open-air reception/restaurant entrance area. Our room was small but had a firm queen-size bed, nice bathroom with good shower, very good A/C unit, refrigerator and water hot-pot. Could have used any/some closet space and coat hooks as we ended-up pretty much living out of our suitcase. Very friendly front desk, kitchen and house-keeping staff; plus they provided free shuttle to beaches, mini-mart, restaurants.....pretty much anywhere you wanted to go on the island. They offer free beach mats, beach towels and transportation to-and-from the beaches; what more could you ask for? One young man who worked there was named "One". He drove the shuttle, served food, cleaned......did it all with a never-ending smile on his face.....truly representative of the Thai culture.....The Land of Smiles....I highly recommend this place.
