Stayed here for 2 fabulous weeks in February 2020. The location is perfect and everything is in walking distance, although you might want a torch.

We had a Garden Bungalow, which was detached and just what we wanted (some of the rooms nearer the beach were joined). The room was spacious with just enough storage to unpack all our clothes (wardrobe and unit). The room was a good size with a large comfortable bed, there was a fridge, room safe, tv, tea, coffee, kettle, dressing table with a mirror, hair dryer & trash hero water bottles that you could fill up at reception (great idea). The bathroom had a nice electric shower and toiletries, it was also a good size. Outside are 2 chairs and a table where you could relax and enjoy the garden.

Breakfast was served in the beach front restaurant, with amazing views. There was a good selection of fruit including a fruit salad, yoghurt, toast, waffles, french toast, pancakes, cereal, juices, smoothies (which were delicious), tea, coffee, hot chocolate and hot food. Eggs and bacon are cooked to order, the friendly staff will come and see what you’d like. The restaurant is also open for lunch, with good food and prices.

The beach front has some comfortable sunbeds and we managed to get one most days. If the beds are full, beach mats are provided at reception so you can take them onto the beach itself. The beach towels are also at reception, they are unusual but lightweight and do the job. We walked up to Bulow beach one day, there is an inlet with sea as calm as a millpond.

They offer trips from the reception and we wanted to do a snorkelling trip as they looked good but my wife was recovering from a broken wrist and we didn’t think it was sensible to risk it. Next time! A lovely little resort on Paradise Island, one we won’t forget in a hurry. Thank you.

Situated on the nicest part of the island, great little set up with all the necessary amenities as well as some few extras. Breakfast and a clean room every day, filtered water, friendly service and great advice re local trips and eco-tourism activities.
Hammocks aplenty and very nicely located to walk into the busier parts or to chill along sunrise beach and surrounding areas. Would recommend

We stayed there for 5 nights and the place, the environment, the view and most importantly the owner and his staff absolutely amazed us.
The place is run by a French man and his wife who both are very friendly and helpful. Bus also their crew was nice. Almost all of them speak English, therefore, no language barrier at all. They picked us up by motorcycle at the pier. Also provided us some boat trips for a reasonable price. Plus, we got our room upgraded for the last 2 nights for free. (stunning sea view, right on the beach, lucky us)
Location is perfect; 7/11 and local restaurants nearby. In addition, the walking street is also within walking distance, no need to take a motorcycle taxi at all.
10/10 overall, very satisfied with the place, highly recommended. Thanks for everything, and all the best to you guys! Keep up the good job!

We arrived to Lipe from Ko Lanta on a speed boat and there they left you on a floating dock but without any problem. The same employees of the shipping company take your suitcases down and leave them on the beach. From there a taxi (motorcycle with a kind of sidecar where you sit and carry your suitcases) to your hotel, 50 baths per person wherever it is. The size of the island is very small, a street crosses it from beach to beach and another from the port to the Zodiac area (where you can see the sunsets). - The hotel was one of the most expensive of the trip (within how cheap Thailand is), something about 360 dollars for 3 nights.- It was one of the 3 bungalows directly on the beach. It was the last one so we had almost no people passing in front of us to go to the beach. - The check in was very correct and very well explained by the manager who was very kind and even offered us a free ride in the Hotel's own tuc tuc to port. (5 minute clock). The cabin was very good and instead of bottles of water, they left you two thermoses and you filled them freely from a water dispenser at the reception. Beach towels, Hawaiian flip flops, coffee, tea, umbrella. Everything very complete. Some very comfortable lounge chairs for the exclusive use of guests on the beach. - From the cabin (except for the large tree that is almost in front) you could see the sea at all times from the bed itself. - At the entrance there was a hose to wash your hands. feet of sand and a hall where there was a table with a very nice armchair to see the sea. - In the sunrise area, so I recommend not closing the curtains and leaving it open to see how it dawns very early (between 5:30 and 6 A.M). Awesome visits. The beach, although not the most crowded, when the tide rises, is excellent for swimming and even snorkeling. At low tide you have to walk quite a bit. From those beaches at low tide you can almost cross to two islands that are opposite. - Breakfast was included and it really was the best, next to the sea, natural fruit juice, eggs to order and as one wanted them, toast and other foods that were more oriental than western.- The staff is very attentive, always available and very correct.- There is no dinner, but you can have lunch for almost the same price as in the center.- The center It is a street of about 10 blocks that becomes pedestrianized from 6 in the afternoon where there is everything, restaurants, dive centers, boutiques, massages and everything you can think of, currency exchange also although a little worse than in Koh Lanta . IF you know how much you plan to spend, change it at Bankok (not at the airport), which is usually better. Just 1 or 2 baths difference, not that serious either.-
Koh Lipe is small but nice. We dived with the people from Pura Vida but the dive sites as we went in the afternoon were not great, and visibility was low. Just 5 minutes sailing from the beach. The price was the same as in the morning, which seemed expensive to me considering that we practically did not sail and it was also in a long tai which makes going up and down more difficult – The equipment is old and quite in poor condition, regulators with small losses, old and worn out suits. I would not dive with them again.

We stayed here for 10 nights in a deluxe garden bungalow. The bungalow was large, huge bed, well equipped with all facilities you need and clean. The bathroom is basic but completely adequate.
The resort is well maintained and well looked after. No rubbish and eco conscious with water top ups.
The food at the resort was nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a good choice of fruit, yogurt, eggs any way you wanted, a rice or noodle dish. Smoothie also very nice.
Massage at the beach front really good and priced competitively.
Kayaks to hire and snorkelling equipment to use. The island at the front of resort nice to visit. At some time of the day the boats were noisy but this is the same for the whole island.
Worth getting up for the sun rise it’s stunning. Always sun beds or hammocks. Really close to walking street but no noise.
Would return in a heart beat 😍

A pretty rocky start to this stay as we arrived after 6pm to a resort that was dark and looked closed up. I had emailed ahead to say we would be late (boat from Koh Lanta took far longer than estimated) but got no reply. I went next door to the Salisa resort and they were thankfully able to contact the Wapi resort host for us who then found us and showed us to our room. Other than this issue, the host was really friendly, smiley and helpful. She sorted a lift for us to the port at the end of our stay and gave us advice on boats and tours. Room and bed were comfortable, bathroom was clean and good, air conditioning worked well and seating area outside was nice. Location was good, easy walk to the walking street and next door to Adang Sea Divers if you want to dive or do a snorkel tour with them. Sun beds and hammocks are available to relax in and they offer good quality snorkels, life vests and kayaks that guests can borrow.

Buffet breakfast options and coffees weren’t that great but they will cook eggs and bacon for you which was great. Wifi not good enough in rooms and we had a strong connection. Lots of long boats parked in the sea outside the resort so not that tranquil and doesn’t feel like the best spot to swim in. We got massages and the location of the massage was great and listening to the waves was really nice. There was confusion over when our massage was, we originally got told by the Masseuse that we were booked for 12pm but then when we turned up for 12 there were other people getting a massage. We waited for 30 minutes before asking the resort host what was happening and they told us we were now at 1pm. Not a huge problem but after we waited my massage was brutal and I tried to indicate to her that it was hurting my spine but she didn’t change anything. My spine and neck were very sore. My partner didn’t have the same experience so I guess it depends on who you get?

Stayed at Wapi resort from 23-27th June 2024. Me & my wife loved our stay here.
The service, the people who ran the resort were brilliant. They made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Always helpful with any enquiries about activities on the island.

We received a free upgrade from garden to sea view bungalow. Inside the bungalow everything you needed, from thongs to Sarongs. Stainless steel water bottles, a beach carry bag. The bed was very comfortable. The room cosy and simple.

The resort supplied beach lounge chairs, there were some hammocks which were easy to relax in. The snorkelling gear was free to use and cheap to hire kayaks. You could snorkel over coral not far from the beach or kayak to the small island where there's lots of coral and variety of colourful fish, we found 3 small groups of Nemo too.

The beach is okay but nice if you go down further as lots of long boats by the resort. Pattaya beach has nicer sand which is only 10-12 minutes walk. Walking street only 5 minutes walk so lots of restaurants within easy walking distance.

The breakfast in the morning is simple but delicious especially the freshly made mango or pineapple juice. It was a pleasure to stay at the Wapi Resort and if back to Koh Lipi we would stay here again.

We have received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The staff were waiting us at the pier and took us to the resort by a sidecar motorcycle. We really love their welcome drink (roselle juice). We have booked Deluxe Tropical Bungalow (C7) and Deluxe Bungalow (C4). It's very nice, private and clean. Only 3 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to walking street. A buffet breakfast, hair dryer, sandals, umbrella, beach blanket, woven bag, mosquito repellents, kayak and etc. are provided. Really appreciated.

A great little place to stay. Its not fancy but its clean, tidy and has all that you need for a beach holiday on Ko Lipe.
Bathrooms are large with shower at one end and the toilet at the other with the hand basin in the middle, important if you like a bathroom with a dry floor.
Probably its best asset is its little café. Simple but good food, great coffee and you can sit there all day if you wish.
Beware, they only offer double beds in some rooms.

Visited with my partner for 4 nights in the deluxe cabin. We stayed during the low season so the resort doesn’t serve alcohol or dinner, only breakfast. There was also quite a lot of mosquitos on the island… obviously no fault of the resort. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and was included in our stay.
There is free snorkelling gear, bicycles and you can rent kayaks for 100 baht per hour.
Would definitely recommend staying here - very reasonable for the stunning views of the island

We have just come back from staying in a deluxe garden view bungalow, we were in the one furthest away from the beach and this was only approx 75 meters away from the beach. It's a small resort all of the bungalow are a stones throw from the beach just not with sea views.

There are boats but most tend to go out during the day with only a few left. There are lots of boats moving around on all parts of the island. When the tide is out it's difficult to swim as it is shallow for some distance before it hits the reef. The boats do come in and out but where careful and looking out for people. There are lots of places to eat close by.

You can call them or just go to the ""Thaibeachtraveler"" shop on the walking street, this shop is only few meter from the begin of the road on the left side, they will call the Wapi reception and arrange a pick up for you. If you don't have a booking just use a motorbike taxi or walk for about 10 minutes.
