On arrival to the island the hotel staff met us at the boat, wherein their smart hotel uniforms, they collected out bags from the boat and carried them to the hotel for us which was like 100m up the beach, an ideal location. We received cool drinks while the hotel staff checked us in. Then the bell boy refused to let us carry our bags to our room, luckily we didn’t have much luggage. There was music each afternoon at the front of the resort as well as live music in the evening. None of this was so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation, or could hear it in your room. The drinks at the bar were slightly on the expensive side, however the 2 for 1 cocktails at happy hour was great. Breakfast was a huge buffet, not what I had come to expect from resorts in Asia, as well as cooked to order food such as bacon and eggs, omelettes and roti. Getting around the island was easy, walk. We couldn’t find anywhere on the island we needed to get a taxi or motorbike. Google maps was very efficient with all of the lanes and streets. On a whole our experience at Ananya Lipe Resort was very pleasant however I had to drop 1 star rating for 2 reasons. Although the staff were very pleasant, helpful and all in uniform at all times, there were 2 staff from the bar that clearly did not want to be there, it showed in there body language and the scowl on their faces. The second reason that we had to deal with cigarette smokers in the restaurant. I’m not sure about the culture that these people are from but in my country it is illegal to smoke in a restaurant and has been for over 30 years. I’m quite sure that Thai people don’t smoke at their dinner table either, so I find this behaviour disrespectful to the Thai people.

After 2 hours on a speed boat, we checked in at Ananya Lipe. The resort was located right on white-sandy Pattaya Beach, Koh Lipe’s most beautiful beach. We were unexpectedly amazed with this resort as it is truly a 5-star resort. It was well designed to answer all the needs of new generations. Its room with a full set of amenities was clean and very spacious with a lovely balcony to enjoy sea breezes. Its breakfast featured a wide variety of local, Thai and international entrees. Its dinner was set in cosy ambience and served on beach with live band. In addition, we faced difficulties on choosing what we would want to have as there were 100+ palatable dishes. Its staff at reception, outlets and especially Khun Au - Uraiwan of housekeeping were friendly and attentive. In conclusion, we had a perfect stay at Ananya Lipe. We certainly shall return!

We came to Koh Lipe from the island of Langkawi. Passport control is 20 meters from the hotel. I was met by a hotel employee and brought things. We were checked in strictly at 14.00. Until this moment we sat in their cafe. The food is really tasty and varied. Prices are the same as in general on the island. Somewhat cheaper than similar seafood in Langkawi. The pool, which overlooks the sea, is incredibly clean, the water is comfortable. But the pool, which we could go into from the room, leaves much to be desired. His water level did not reach the overflow and therefore there was no cleaning. In the mornings, a boy with a scoop walks around the pool collecting leaves and other visible debris. In fact, there was just everything in the pool (bags, paper, etc.). Maybe we were unlucky and these are temporary difficulties, but the steps are even slippery. But two points probably disappointed me. The first is boats and there is no place in the sea for swimming AT ALL. This is a huge pier! Near Akira the beach is fenced and there is a beach. Although you can’t call it a dream beach. And second!! I imagined an island without transport, as was written in most reviews. No! You will not walk along the "pedestrian" streets. You will constantly miss motorcycles with bassinets, music and funny people! Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and this flavor also contributed to our mood. But for the sea and swimming on the beach, this is not the place! Yes, boats will take you to other beaches on neighboring islands. But that's a different story!

We crossed the water from Ten Moons to arrive at Ananya. Smooth journey good welcome. Unfortunately room not quite ready so took the opportunity to have a massage next to the pool. After finishing the massage found my room had been allocated to someone else . Oops. However, that was ok as we were quickly offered another room that was the same quality. The hotel is beachfront with lots of activities. Music played throughout the day and a live band at night and dining beachside. Walking street next door where you can find shops, eating places , nail salons and tour operators. Certainly recommend a stay here. The water is crystal clear and the fish come really close to the waters edge if you don’t like to snorkel. I was lucky to be able to celebrate Loi Kratjong here and it was such an amazing experience.

The island of Koh Lipe is very beautiful, with really fine sand and clear waters up till a few meters deep! The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help, just that some may not be too familiar with english.
The hotel rooms were really clean and scented with nice aromas so the rooms feel even cleaner. The room is spacious and has a sofia at the side which I used when I am still wearing my outside clothes, which is really nice and comfy. The sheets and towels are folded nicely and changed regularly. The rain shower was powerful and hot if you need it to be and I had great showers every time I needed it.
The yacht tours were really fun as well. As a family of 20, we had no problems finding space to relax and enjoy the breeze or sun. The music was also pretty decent and the on board service of appetisers were delicious and refreshing. It was a great first experience!
All in all the hotel staff, room and services were excellent and I would go there again!

Nice hotel on the beach. Nice room but ask for a room near the beach because ours was very far. Lunch on the beach is great except that the restaurant is not excellent. The wine by the glass is to vomit. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach and in Ko Lipe so it's not a problem to eat well and cheaply. So no need to take half board. Perfect for a stay of 4 days max

Not very crowded pool and the milkshakes are good however, laundary is expensive with everything else is kind of as well. Breakfast is so very yummy however my main concern again is about the price. Overall the stay was not bad. 4 stars for Ananya Lipe Resort

We were positively surprised. Very nice beach and opportunities for relaxation. The room was perfectly fine. Room service was good but the staff at the front desk can't even speak English. There are several who do not understand or speak English. Very especially that those who work do not know English when there is a hotel. The service at the front desk has poor understanding. They have service through the phone but I kept on for 10 minutes before I got an answer.
Breakfast is nothing to boast of! Breakfast gets 0 points out of 10.
There are not so many hotels nearby and there is little to choose from. I don't think I'm going to KOH lipe again because of the hotel. To eat for dinner there is a walk street but the same type of food.Very poor choice and little taste.
Dinner at the hotel: We ate pizza the 2nd day and then we got a pizza that was not finished fried. We ate pizza another day and then there were reptiles on the pizza.

Checked in for 4 nights stay at Ananya Lipe. Back after the pandemic to such a beautiful island. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks at the beach bar, found the cocktails too sweet and sugary after we had clearly told the staff no sugar added. Bar waiter, male, couldn’t be bothered to come and take orders. There seem to be some supervisor but just talking with staff. I did notice the bar to be rather empty. We had tried to order a few menu items and they were out of stock. They brought over a full fried fish in error of misunderstanding the order. The room as ok, rather large and complete with amenities and good pool view. Breakfast was ok but similar menu everyday. We found their Roti station ran out of roti early one day, no poached eggs available, and everyday after staff closed breakfast they would all come out of the kitchen and eat the leftovers. On checkout day they woke us up with a phone call at 8am reminding us to checkout before 12. At 11:50am onwards they kept phoning our room trying to check us out. All in all not a great experience and would stay at another place next time. Beach in front is very beautiful.

The best experience I have had on this island. amazing service, nice staff, always smiling and helpful. we came here with family and were welcomed like real friends! The food was delicious! We tried different dishes and I can honestly recommend them all! We were here three times and each time the service greeted us with a smile! I recommend it to anyone who is wondering where to eat well and receive high-quality service! Thank you all! You made us feel happy and tasty during the holidays!
