Green View Resort is a lovely place to spend a vacation. We were here for 3 weeks and loved the bungalow we stayed at. The bungalow is entirely made of bamboo with the bathroom being an extension in the back of it. The bathroom was well made and fresh, note that you can not flush toiletpaper in the toilet as the piping system is not made to handle toiletpaper. This is not any different from most resorts on the island but important to note.

The roomservice was good and the staff frendly and eager to help if needed. The only somewhat negative thing is that the bars located near the resort played loud music at night. However if you feel like you want to spend a vacation that you will never forget this is the place for you. Plus it's located right at the beach and close to walking street.

The place is amazing. Accessible to the walking street and pier/jetty. The receptionist was also very friendly and always suggested places to eat/go when requested. Despite that the room has no aircond, it's still very comfortable. They provided fans, mosquito net and mosquito repellent/coil. Highly recommended.

The bungalow we stayed in was basic but had enough for a comfy stay- however, we were not provided with drinking water meaning we needed to purchase plastic bottles.
The geckos provided excellent company.
The location is ideal, and we weren't disturbed by any noise while sleeping.
Overall it was a pleasant stay; bum.

You'll love this cute little paradise. The location is excellent (2 min walk to Walking Street where you have to go to eat, drink, shop, look for diving tours, etc.) If you stay on Pattaya beach you don't need to take a taxi to another beach and Green View Beach Resort is only within 5 min walk.

The size of the bamboo hut is reasonable with a big bathroom and plenty of space to store your things. You don't have to worry about mosquitos cuz you'll be sleeping inside a mosquito net. To be honest the room was a bit dark but I just hung out on the beach anyway so it was okay for me. The reception area is airy where you can just lie down have a beer or read a book.

To get to other beaches you will need to take a taxi (you can walk but it's muddy due to the constant rain and you'll have to cross some puddles!) But I went to sunrise beach and it was just okay for me.. the beach was different with a nice view but it was not super peaceful because people are building new hotels and it was too noisy for me to relax.

All in all, I was happy that I chose to stay at Green View! and Khun Talay - the lady who looks after the resort is super friendly and helpful!

We spent 3 days at the resort with two kids - aged 6 and 10. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, also due to the beautiful little garden with bungalows scattered, welcoming beach chairs right at the beach and warm, clear waters with a perfect beach right at the property.
When we arrived from Langkawi, MY, we walked right along the beach (about 400m I would guess) to the place.
The host was extremely nice and forthcoming, supported with a snorkling trip, always with a smile on her face and a suggestion for good food. On the first day she invited our oldest to show him around some nice things he can see snorkling right infront of the resort - saw Nemo(s)/clown fish, sea urchins (they are on the rocky parts little further out only - no worries to go swimming or playing with the kids at the sandy parts in the front) and some beautiful fish. Also snorkling gear was available for no extra costs from the resort.
All in all a we spent some super relaxing days and would be happy to come back some day.

Best bungalow resort on the island! Staff(Talya) was amazing and super helpful. We will definitely come again.
They have their own private area at the beach and free snorkeling and kayak equipment that you can use in the sea.
Bungalows are very nice and cosy.

Green view garden resort
Wow so much to say about this place.
Let’s start by saying I was not bothered about not having tv, A/C, fridge or any other kind appliances however a basic amenity such as hot water in the shower should be available.

Their response asking about it “but the booking information did not say it would be available”. Never have a I stayed in a hotel/hostel/bungalow or any other place that would have not had hot water in the shower. Or that the lack of this is not mentioned in the property details.

Other minuses come from the constant noise: other bungalows as the walls are good as paper, neighbouring hotels’ A/C machine blasting directly towards the bungalows and the small but busy alley between the hotels with non stop traffic from dusk to dawn, not forgetting the renovations taking place middle of peak season, air-nail guns blasting most days, fixing the bamboo huts at the front of the resort, near the sunbathing area.
My hut also had a citrus tree above the bathroom ceiling made from corrugated steel, giving nightly heart attacks in the form of dropping citrus fruit bombs.
Let’s carry on with the interior of the huts. Nails protruding from the floor boards, small wardrobe / cabinet which doors did not close and mere 3 plastic hangers and finally messed up electricity that resulted a non-stop flickering ceiling light.

On the positive side the electricity is produced by solar panels.

The staff, constantly having discussions with guests about multiple issues, some taking place 11pm at night in the bungalow next to you.

Although I am all for sustainable development, traveling and hotels, this place is not worth the overpriced cost they’re charging.
Sustainability would be better represented if the huts would have wooden hangars and reception could offer water refilling station.
The lack of this just pushes the guests to buy plastic water bottles from the local shops adding to the n growing problem of plastic on the island.

When booking be aware that the room information does not include that only few of the bungalows have actual hot water.

When you arrive you feel like in a little paradise, I was in one of the bungalow with sea views, worthy to wake up and see the see, breakfast is not available, but I was buying stuff the day before in 7eleven and having in the little terrace in the morning. Sometimes there are noises in the early night or mornings from the pubs-hotels in the surrounding.
As you are in a bungalow made out of bamboo, you must be aware of the noises that it produce and the open joints... I saw a crab for instance... xD.
Beds are quite comfy and with a moskito net ( very useful).
Bathroom are big and you get shampoo and body shower, and towels.
The guest hamacas are also very nice, very big spots of shadow available.
Love this place.

This resort is wonderful! The location is right at the beach and close to the pier you get dropped off at! Silly me, didn’t do my research and walked aaall away around lol!

Tally the receptionist is super friendly and have the best customer service skills ever! I just arrived and she invited me to go to her 7 years on Koh Lipe party. (Which was at the walking street)
My bungalow was pretty quiet and didn’t hear any noise. Did hear the lovely birds chirping to each other.
Anyway, Tally makes everyone welcome and knows a lot on where to go and what to do on the island.

The bungalows are as they are described. It’s made from bamboo and super eco friendly! (Love it!)
You might expect the bungalows to be hot but it isn’t. This due to the lovely big trees and garden it is a lot cooler. At least at night it isn’t hot. During the day it might be a bit warmer. But hey! Why would you be IN the bungalow if you can just stay and chill at the beach or at the lovely shaded communal area. But if you don’t want to hang out there, you can just stay at the porch of the bungalow.

I’m trying to see if there is any negative comments about the resort from my experience…🤔
Can’t think of any so not making anything up here. The island has a lot of mosquitoes so bring some spray or whatever. As for the bungalow, there is a very thick mosquito net covering the bed. I’ve never been bitten when I was in the bed (I checked my bed every night and no mosquitoes that I took with me into bed) only when I was outside.

The location is simply great, the right distance to the walking street. The island is very small so it is easy to get disturbed at night by the noise of the parties, here is not a problem, you are far enough to get a proper sleep. The bungalows are confy and spacious with nice bathrooms, mosquito nets are new and working. The bungalows are well aranged in a park like area and the access to the beach is very clean. In our opinion Pattaya beach is better then the other, sheltered from the winds the water is calm and the coral reef is just beautifull. The staff helped out with everything we need. Really a beautiful stay.

Ko Lipe, Thailand
hi, we have beach front bungalow available, you can book online from our website. This bungalow have hot water shower. We are derectly on the beach,100 meter from immigration office. Green View Beach Resort is a nice place:quite, realaxing with beautifull garden and shady private beach with free sunbed only for guests. Bungalows are clean and we have exellent water tratment to purify water for bungalows, and also we are Eco resort...no pollution here. Green View Resort is not a Luxury hotel,so we no have Luxury service...but we give mask and fins for free to snorkel from our private beach to explore the coral barrell in the front. Service is easy, and also prices...can not pretends 5 star service!!...but sometime someone pretends and complain. If someone want 5 star services must book and pay for a 5 star hotel...Here is not 5 star. I think some review are from friendly competitors,or from some unauthorized persons that come inside our private beach to use Green View custumer's sunbed..and was expelled...so they wrote some reviews.. You can see have many nice review..and old review about constraction and noise are old already 3 years... Thank you Angelo
