Idyllic Concept Resort is celebrated for its stylish ambiance and beachfront serenity, although the pulsating music can sometimes intrude on the tranquility. Guests have lauded the resort's comprehensive amenities, which include inviting pools and a well-equipped gym, but have occasionally mentioned shortcomings in room quality and service. Despite its slightly isolated location, the resort's proximity to the beach is a consistent highlight among reviewers. While accommodations are generally modern and tidy, opinions on their condition and spaciousness vary. Cleanliness receives mixed reviews, particularly regarding the dining and public areas, and some guests question the resort's value, pointing to the steep prices paired with an underwhelming experience.

There is little that is idyllic about this hotel, which stretches from reception to the beach in a somewhat crowded manner with buildings of various modern architectural designs. There are several very steep stairs to climb from the top to the sea.
Our start was unfortunately a little unfortunate. The hotel wanted to put us in one of the few rooms in the Junior Suite Pool View category WITHOUT a balcony, even though we had booked it precisely because of the furnished balcony. After a lengthy discussion and because we were staying for 7 nights, we were able to move into a Junior Suite Seaview in the newer building.

This room on the lower floor was bright, attractively furnished in a modern style, had a small garden seating area and was appealing because of its proximity to the sea and the restaurant. The bathroom was not very functional. It lacked ventilation, hooks and a well-functioning flush. Despite minor defects, the Seaview rooms are our preferred category. The fact that there was a lot going on in the lower pool didn't bother us either. If there was, we went to the upper pool, where it was pleasantly quieter.

The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was extremely varied, with many hot dishes, but some of these were aimed at Chinese guests, who were also present in large numbers in the hotel. Eggs and roti were freshly prepared according to request. As has often been mentioned here, the restaurant and toilets can only be entered barefoot, which is unpleasant for the latter. The cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved. The staff were friendly in their service and quick to clear away. The 2 for 1 happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. was pleasant, where wine was also included in addition to beer and cocktails.

The loungers and parasols on the beach were cleared away every evening and put up again after 8 a.m. The beach towels were also only available from 8 a.m. Reservations were made heavily. The opinion that Sunrise Beach is quieter than Pattaya Beach is hardly true. Here, too, a lot of rattling longtail boats landed in the morning to pick up excursion guests. Later in the afternoon they came back rattling and drove right through the bathers.

Conclusion: An internationally oriented hotel, rather anonymous with little flair, but uncomplicated, in a good beach location and with a certain level of comfort. Walking Street can be reached on foot in just a few minutes by going through the next hotel on the left. To immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Koh Lipe, you can definitely consider staying at the hotel for 3-4 nights.

The piece of the hotel I loved spacious, clean, modern and with everything we needed. In addition, we were handed a hat and a beach bag for the days we stayed. They were waiting for us as soon as we arrived from the speedboat and were transferred directly to the hotel. As we arrived on Valentine's Day, they had a special meal that night and the truth, decoration, attention and food were excellent. The beach sector is very nice, the sand is clean and they have free kayaks for one hour. They also have a beach bar and restaurant. Breakfast was varied and very rich. I totally recommend you take the private boat tour with the hotel; we really toured the islands alone, without other tourists. I definitely loved the hotel. I think it's the best option on Koh Lipe.

We spent a few days in this hotel and we really fell short. The accommodation has a wonderful location facing the beach although it may be a little off the main street of Lipe. The room was GIANT. It looked very modern and with decoration and ambient lighting. The balcony was very practical and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which is appreciated to sleep comfortable in the high temperatures.

About the property, it has a beautiful beach, and they lend you kayaks to approach the islet in front. You can also hire a boat to take you to other sectors of the main island. It also has an infinity pool overlooking the sea.We also ate very well at the hotel although there are many other options around the area.
It has an amazing new gym that features even palestra, include complimentary transfer from the port and gave us some gift beach hats.
Excellent breakfast in a space next to the beach. Lots of variety and juices prepared at the time.

We stayed 6 nights in a twin room with pool view. It was pricier than usual because it was the only room available on the island when we booked at last minute from 1/1/25.

Our experience was a little bit different to the fantastic reviews and I'm not entirely sure if this was because the hotel was our first experience of Thailand standards or if it was a disconnect between the hotel initial impressions and the reality - it was all just a bit skin deep. For us the hotel looked beautiful, presented as clean and had friendly staff but it was only at a surface level. The entrance to our room faced the rear of the hotel, away from the middle pool and had lots of rubbish stored there. The mirrors and the room generally was surface clean but mirrors and surfaces were smeared. The water in the shower had a scum and smell, which made showering unpleasant. In addition the staff walked really smelly rubbish bags through the hotel restaurant and a housekeeper threw mop bucket water out on the reception plants - the standards of cleanliness didn't really match the hotel price point. The staff were polite but lacked warmth and their friendliness lacked genuine hospitality.

However, the beach was stunning and the location just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay but it was more because we loved Koh Lipe's beaches and water. We would return to Koh Lipe but would probably choose another hotel. We went to the Zodiac Bar and would probably choose their beach accommodation next time.

Where should I start? Well let’s start by the way the friendly staff welcomes you (back) when you arrive by boat. Been here twice and they still recognize us and know our names when welcoming us with a delicious drink. Checking in doesn’t even take more than 1 or 2 minutes and you are guided to your room.

The pool is located directly at the beautiful beach, so you can easily switch between the sea and the pool. The pool has a nice poolbar where you meet nice people from all over the world. Enjoying a cocktail while the sun goes down and stay with the children in the pool till after dark.

Can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness, always a friendly smile on their face and helpful in anyway. The spa has been renovated into a 5 star spa where I love to enjoy a massage by Thung. Known her for over years and she has the strongest hands of the island 😁

Last but certainly not least. Imagine owning this resort and a few more resorts and still being able to take the time and invite your guests for dinner. Well, that’s what we experience here. P’ Noom, thank you very much for your hospitality, dinner and friendly chat. Much appreciated ❤️

This resort really has what it takes to unwind and I can recommend it to anyone: family, single, young or old, everyone will feel right at home.

We stayed here for 10 nights and were expecting a much better experience than we received. This is not a professional run hotel in any way and lacks management control Let me start with breakfast which is more like a self service cafeteria. You wander in no one to greet you to show you to your table, no one to ask your room number in fact if you fancy a free breakfast just stroll in off the beach no one will bother you !! And such a noisy breakfast room far too small for the size of the hotel. The bed in the room was like concrete so hard. I complained and they offer a bed topper for 1000 bhat a day. I told them I want the topper but will not pay and so they did not charge me. Fair enough. Rooms were ok but tired and in need of an uplift. The bar and beach area are basically run by a bunch of young people who have no training whatsoever. The bar area round the swim up pool is just disgusting and so unhygienic and needs a dam good clean. Cocktail hour ! Relax, chill out as the sun goes down ? No chance when kids are in charge of the music. A nice bit of rap music bit of grunge that’s what you get not relaxation. Sadly we couldn’t wait to leave and it was a very poor hotel.

A resort that requires climbing up / down either from room to pool / breakfast restaurant or room to reception (depending on which part of the resort you stay)

Check-in / out
Was pretty fast

Rooms
We booked 3 rooms & were allocated 114, 115 and 108. 114 is the biggest amongst the 3 given we paid same room rate and these 3 are supposed to be same room type. The other 2 rooms are relatively small and quite castrophobic. The room nicely sits a bed and left with little room space. Definitely will not recommend a triple share. There will be no space for luggages. Also feels not right that we paid same price, different sized room.

Relatively old, not been upkept well especially the toilet tiles. Phone and safe not working upon check in. The lock to balcony not functioning well.

Inconsistent housekeeping standards.

F&B
One and only restaurant that serves 3 meals.

Breakfast was enough but not fantastic spread.

Ordered soft boil eggs, not cooked.

Ordered hard boil eggs, turned out soft boil.

We had ala carte meals throughout the day while hanging out at the beach, they were mostly good.

Transport
It cost THB50 per person to go anywhere island wide. No nego. You may wish to contact Mr Phat at 087-4689611. Find him reliable and very flexible to our request. You can always get the resort to call him on your behalf if going anywhere. Max 3 in one tuk tuk.

Immigration
Chaotic, nobody tells you what to expect. Just need to ask around. A friend lost her baggage as they left it in the ferry.

The perfect hotel. We came out of our room and were straight into the beach of paradise We didn’t have to go far for the pool or for breakfast, which had a great choice and suitable for all. The room was very clean and our towels were changed daily Couldn’t fault the staff at all, even when my flip flops were mistakenly taken they tried their best to help. (Which were returned in the end lol) it’s a 5 🌟from us.

Beautiful hotel, good location, beautiful facilities with vegetation, respecting the landscape and the island. You get to North Point in 15 minutes walking along the beach, if you swim on the hotel beach you will immediately see coral, nemos, and fish (be careful with the sea urchins). They leave you a carrycot in the GIANT room to go to the beach, and also sun hats and hats. Large hotel, with 2 swimming pools, spacious, beautiful large and clean room, with a bathtub, the bathroom is poorly lit though. They offer kayaks and water glasses for a fee, and a free bus in the afternoon leaving at 6:00 p.m. and returning at 8:00 p.m. to the town. They have a giant gym, good food, delicious breakfast (missing OAT MILK, vegetarian options). Dirty beach towels in general, check. Highly recommended!! We would return!!

The saying goes “people make the place” which could not be more true than in Idyllic Resort on Koh Lipe.
As fortunately so often in Thailand the service is ever so friendly and whatever we asked for they could not do enough to be of help and with a huge smile.
Let alone the modern hotel (only 9 years old) is in excellent condition and rooms are large, excellent beds and with big bath rooms.
Though the hotel has 89 rooms it feels like a boutique hotel as it is well dispersed and though there were more couples and less families the pool and bar was always alive, yet subtle and not noisy.
The idea with the restaurant both on the terrasse and inn the sand on the beach is excellent and the food is so good we often did not even head downtown.
Idyllic Resort is at the end of the beach so far less traffic (people and boats) compared to the rest of the beach.
Did I mention the 6 star Gym? – it is incredible! 3 floors with panorama windows towards the rain forest the top modern high-end equipment.
Only two very small wishes: Aircon rather noisy and water sports toys needs renewal.
Would we stay here again?
Can’t wait to come back!
