I loved this hotel from the first moment we stepped in. The soft music that was playing, the smell of flowers, the big library to the right and a beautiful garden to the left with table under the grape trees. A nice outdoor swimming pool and lovely lovely rooms! A very friendly service, tasty breakfast with a huge choice of...

At best I would want to say don't visit this hotel, since I want to have this hotel for myself and nobody else should go, but that would be unfair on Zeynep and her Staff. A home from home would be a perfect description. The breakfast, the afternoon tea with cakes were just fantastic. Thank you Zeynep for being such...

Chilled, calm and intelligent service. Kids loved the dogs and cats in the area. Breakfast was good, rooms were simple but luxury. Authentic and very responsive. The town of Alacati was touristy, but not overly so, with some good restaurants. Any question we had was answered quickly and accurately. A good place to have a family break or write a...

This little gem of an hotel is for anyone who is looking for a charming and authentic experience; spotlessly clean and meticulous attention to detail make this possibly one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay at. The staff are available for any request, always with a smile without being over the top. Its position is perfect...

Set in a small walled garden with a swimming pool, this is a very charming hotel for a short stay. The staff are an absolute delight and very professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is in the old centre of the town which may be rather larger than you'd think. The historic part is Greek in origin and...

Great place to be. You feel welcome and at home :-) I love the tea time with home made cakes, that are offered every day. Location (center Alacati) is great, there is a shuttle bus to the surf center. We will come back next year! $

Dilemma: if we tell people how good this place is they might go there too and then next time we try to go it might be all booked up. Hmm. This was an amazing stay. We felt both spoilt and at home. The only very slight irk might be that it can be quite noisy so it's hard to sleep...

Lovely building, wonderful staff and owners. Amazing afternoon teas. Bedrooms represent a time gone, however you can sit in lounge room or outside table and chairs. Wonderful bathroom oilve oil washes and lotions. We spent two days just lazinging by the pool. Lovely homely experience. Would have no hesitations recommending this accomodation.

We stayed two nights here and found it to be very comfortable. The rooms are pretty, but on the small size. The en-suite shower room was tiny. However, it has bags of charm and the staff could not be more hospitable. The hotel has a good location within easy walking distance of the central streets but it is quiet. There...

I located this region of Turkey and Tas Otel in an Australian newspaper article. I stayed for at this property for 4 days in June 2015. The property exceeded my expectations in all ways, as did Alacati and the surrounding towns. Tas Otel is a gem with the walled garden and pool. It's a real oasis for relaxing after a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tas Otel has been opened in 2001 as the first small hotel by ZeynepOzis who was one of the pioneers of "protective tourism" implemented successfully in Alacati. Ms. Ozis has questioned the 'mission, vision, strategy and action plan' steps that she has learned in professional life in line with her expectations and the answer she found was to be able to live and work away from the big cities, together with people and animals, doing physical exercise and having a balanced life and Tas Hotel, which was also her dream when she was young, came into being.Tas Otel is a century old Greek house with a swimming pool and peaceful green garden and it has been awarded as one of the best 20 small European hotels by the British Sunday Times. The hotel has an olive grove of 200 olive trees and each year olive harvesting is done together with the guests. The harvested olives are processed and served. Delicious Alacati cake with lemon is served with the five o'clock tea made with the Cesme lemons and in the winter the fireplace and the books are waiting for the guests. ... more   less
