My oldest friend and I visited bath lodge castle for afternoon tea with our eldest daughters aged 5 and 7. We had pre booked and the manager Mikel had made us feel welcome to use the grounds first so the girls could enjoy the full surroundings. We met the goats and rabbits then strolled around the woodland area, finally returning...

My wife and I have very recently spent 3 nights at Bath Lodge Castle, having booked through Secret Escapes. Thank goodness we only paid the heavily discounted rate as the normal tariffs are far too high in our humble opinion. BLC is advertised as 5 star but when this accolade was granted must have been sometime ago. To be fair,...

We booked the family room which was £290 a night. We stayed there for three nights. I would say the room was average, certainly wasn't worth £290. It was 5 star prices for 3 star facilities. The shower in the room was horrendous so we had to have baths the whole time we were there. Our stay there was average...

Stayed at the Bath Lodge Castle over night and can fully recommend this hotel. We had a warm welcome, the room was very nice and the service and food was excellent. This made for a very enjoyable stop over.

We stayed a couple of nights in January. There was a warm greeting at reception. The room was lovely with a four poster bed and the bathroom excellent - large with gorgeous fixtures and fittings. The hot tub was an unexpected feature of the grounds. We had both breakfasts and a dinner at the hotel, and all were excellent. Lamb...

We stayed in the Stirling room, with a private terrace and a shower in a turret! It might be a castle, but it was very warm and cosy. It's perfect for a romantic break, and it's very close to Bath. We had dinner in the castle's restaurant and couldn't fault it in any way - superb. There was a nice...

Wow wow wow what a feast we had! I'm still happily full and it's now gone 6pm! Hats off to the chef who clearly knows a thing or 2 about vegan diets as the afternoon tea was the nicest one I've tasted! As for the vegan clotted cream omg amazing. 👌 Lovely setting and a warm environment welcomed us and...

To celebrate my wife's birthday I booked the Bath Castle Lodge as a surprise and we couldn't have had a better evening. The accommodation in the Windsor room was fantastic and quite unusual. We booked for BB and evening meal and the three courses were excellent. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly and we will certainly...

Over estimated in extenso. Pretends to be a castle, turned out to be more like a farmers holiday dream. The service was under average as well as the cleaniness, Low quality beds and on top of all a breakfast as plain as plain can be........
