Stayed in a nice sized double room. The hotel was reasonably priced. Very convenient to the train and bus station. Staff was very helpful, but no one spoke English. A simple Japanese breakfast was included with the room.

Right next to Higashi Hagi Station. Room was clean, staff (at the time of check in) couldn't speak English, which might be a problem for some people. There's quite a bit of parking available for anyone renting a car, and folks wanting to do some sight seeing can rent bicycles down stairs. Overall? No problems. Granted, the hotel might seem...

Hagi was part of my solo backpacking activity. I was not expecting that much from this hotel as there is very limited information in english. But i was pleasantly surprised. Beneath the imposing concrete exterior is a modern and comfortable hotel. I had a great few days here. Its perfect location for transportation made my trip much easier. Reception speaks...

This business hotel right next to JR Hagi East station is cheap yet has everything a traveler needs (seems also popular with couples ) and the beds were comfortable. Amenities include tooth and hair brushes, respectively shavers, hair dryer and even heated slippers! Toilet and shower stall are separate (always a nice feature) and while there is no bath tub...

The Royal Intelligent is located next to JR Higashi-Hagi (East Hagi) Station. The rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The interior decoration of the hotel is unusual and interesting. I got the impression that the owner may have collected paintings and bric-a-brac while travelling the world and has put his /her collection on display in the rooms...

Very simple hotel, I think mainly for business travellers, but it has an enormous room for six (from what I remember, with all the beds lined up in a row), which easily accommodated our family of five. Décor pretty old school, the staff didn’t speak great English when we were there (which isn’t a big surprise, as I don’t think...

They say you have to live with someone to know them, well the same can be said of hotels. We recently stayed at this hotel for nearly 4 weeks (yes weeks!) due to injuries suffered in a fall elsewhere and we cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention provided by staff, they were fantastic. Initially we were booked...

Located almost on top of the Hagi main station, it is easy to reach. Rooms are large and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. There is a very good welcome from Reception with an excellent level of English. Breakfast was interesting with Japanese mainly but adequate for a westerner who requires something different. There is also an Onsen which is very...

I'm thinking that this hotel would be our regular accomodation whenever we visit Hagi, my hometown, one or two times a year from now on. We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights for chores, not for sightseeing. But I recommend you to stay this hotel when you will visit Hagi. Anywhere in the hotel you can connect internet free...
