We will be walking the Kumano Kodo trail and don't want to carry a lot of excess baggage. Does anyone know if Pension Ashitanomori provides towels and/or robes after using the onsen? (Thanks in advance for any information).

Yes they have robes, towels and slippers.
Natural onsen in the river outside and their own private indoors.
