阿波踊りの時期は、出遅れると徳島市内のホテルの予約はまずとれない。
キャンセル待ちができればラッキーなほどです。
その時期に、徳島市内から電車で一時間程のところにあるのが「脇プラザホテル」。
駅からは、昼なら歩いてもいいかと思いますが、夜ならタクシーを使ったほうが無難かと思います。
阿波踊りの時期は、どこのホテルも値上がりをしている中、比較的そんなに値段も上がらず良心的な値段で宿泊できます。基本、素泊まりですが、周りに飲食店があります。ホテルの近くの地図も頂けました。家族で経営しているようなホテルです。
最低限に不快な思いをせず、寝泊りするというホテルという意味でしたら、いいかと思いますが、高級ホテルのようなサービスやアメニティーの豊富さ、交通の便利さなどなどを求める方にはおすすめしません。
また、阿波踊りの繁忙期ということもあって、チェックインを深夜の11時までＯＫでしたが、電車に乗り遅れ、深夜の12時チェックインになってしまったけれど、嫌な顔せず対応していただいたのはよかったです。

ホテルのチェックインが9時までという点に気を付けなければならない。
また、管理人さんがホテル近くのコンビニを経営しているのか、その割引チケットを配布していた。
部屋自体もアパートの1室をまるまる使用できたので、非常に広くありがたい。
コインランドリーもあり、宿泊できてよかった。
ただし、Wifi環境は自分で準備する必要があった。
