The hotel has a shuttle bus with a dedicated stop at the Ikeda train station (come down the centre escalator, turn left and then when you are outside turn right along the bicycle parking - keep walking until you are at the junction of the overhead road - their green bench and nam

The nice part is the Onsen. What it's like with more than 10 people in it I can't say. Dinner was good, staff friendly. Shuttle from/to Ikeda station is free.
The building and its interiors: ready to be scrapped, ugly 60's shoebox, stained and used furniture, rooms smell of cigar

Stayed here because we were on a late flight in and it was close to the airport. A bit old but incredible hospitality and thoughtfulness. Private bath takes a while to fill but otherwise nice. Public baths also not huge but good enough :) Unexpected massage chair in the room was

Location - Easy to get to and out of the city for pure relaxation.

Check-in / reception - Very quick and professional. Lady made green tea for us on arrival and showed us around our room.

Space - More room than expected. Traditional and small balcony overlooking the

I came here with my girlfriend. The Onsen was divided intro male & female, indoor and outdoor, there were just a few people using them so it was comfy and spacey. The One outside was well decorated.

The meal was nice, we enjoyed it in a private room, it includes around 8 course

Hi, does anyone know whether we need to reserve seats for the free shuttle bus or can we just join the queue at the pick-up point?
Hi, Does anybody know if you can book a private onsen for day use here? Or otherwise are there mixed gender baths? I want to go with my husband but we don't want to be separated as it'll be nice to experience together.
Hi everyone, wondering if anyone could tell me if the ryokan facilitates private onsen? Eg. Some ryokans allows guest to book the onsen for a limited period of time...
Hi. Our room came with its own hot spring tub in the balcony. So u could opt for those. We didnt enquire about renting the family tubs downstairs.

what is the email address for Fushioukaku, needing a ask a couple of questions. Thanks
Hi, I am planning to stay here a night or two with a friend. As this is our first time going to a foreign country, planning to get all grounds covered if possible. I apologize in advance if any of my questions sounds very amateur-ish... I have a few questions. 1. We are planning to get a room with the private open-air baths. Do we select "Guest rooms with rotemburo-6F" as the option? 2. Seeing that both me and my friend will be going there with our big luggage (not those cabin sized), is the shuttle bus able to fit it in? 3. Also, prior to point #2 above, it mentions of reserving seats by email or phone call, if I am planning to do it via email, I suppose that will only happens after I made reservations online? Many thanks in advance for any answers :)
Hi. Yup. we reserved the one with the rotemburo. The shuttle bus cant really handle large suit cases but that said, one couple managed to get it on board - shunted tightly between the 2 aisles of seats. May not be much use calling the hotel in advance cos they only got 1 bus. But u can try. I called when I reached the train station. The hotel had 1 member of staff who spoke some English to answer. My email comms to them took a while to get replies though. But they did reply.
