This hotel was lovely, but the staff was really great. We were there for only 1 night and I had fractured my foot just before i got to the hotel. The staff was fantastic in their effort to ensure that I was comfortably settled in my room when I returned from the hospital. They were are also extremely helpful when...

Very beautiful hotel next to the river, with attentive service from the staff. Rooms are well equipped, with a small patio where we can sit and unwind. Smell of tatami in the room was very relaxing and homey. Public baths were good, with a well landscaped outdoor bath as well.

I like this hotel a lot! It’s close to the station. Service: Good service but though I have experienced more warm and friendlier services at Kinosaki. Staff speak limited English but would try their best to communicate. They offer their own bicycle rental for 700-1000Yen per bicycle per day. We decided to rent our bikes free of charge (for 2...

ALL the indoor area of the hotel is covered entirely with tatami, which provides a full sense of traditional and authentic Japanese styles. Staff are friendly and cheerful. Room with river view and we enjoyed the stroll along the river in the morning :)

The hotel provides and represents a life style Japanese, very fresh Japanese food both for dinner and breakfast. The room very clean and in between a day, we get a sweet desert plus a real green tea along w the outfit that we can change in order to look like a local rather than a tourist.

Japanese style twin rooms are spacious, clean and very traditional, facilities are a little older but well maintained. Onsen area is nice, indoor and outdoor pools. Staff are very helpful and go out of the way to assist. Breakfast is fantastic. Dinners are great if you enjoy dishes of crab prepared the traditional Japanese way (I understand Amanohashidate is famous...

A friend recommended this ryokan to us. It was an amazing stay. The ryokan van picked us up at the train station and took us to this amazing ryokan. We've been to several in Japan and this is one of our favorites. It's new, clean and sleek. Ladies in kimonos greeted us at the entrance. The staff does not speak...
