Hotel Goetznerhof is the friendliest hotel in Austria. Small family run hotel. Good food and a lively bar in the evening. Plenty of hot water and cummfy beds - what more could you want. The sauna has been refurbished and the ski buses stop right outside

Family hotel with free welness, nice staff. Smoking is allowed at the bar. Good food and clean rooms. Lot of ski centres around hotel, we can reccomend Stubaier glatcher. Cheap prices, but "not so good" beer like in whole tirol.

Stayed here for a week. Served its purpose warm good food and plenty of it. Primarily used by the Dutch but many other nationalities. We were the only Brits. East to get to the slopes on public transport. Only fifteen minutes from Innsbruck airport by car. There is a bus service. The only downside is the resort is low.

The hotel is OK with nice & quiet rooms, good beds, and basic bathrooms. It is within 15 minutes driving from the airport. Most surprising is that the front part of the hotel is a bar where smoking is allowed. Next to the bar is a dining area that is formally non-smoking, but at times the door separating the bar...

They call themselves a three star hotel but there is no lift and the second floor rooms are under the roof so you are continuously hitting your head on the ceiling. The hotel is situated on the main road through the village and seemed to have heavy traffic going day and night so it was difficult to sleep with the...

Went at the end of the ski season so was very quiet. Only 20mins from the airport, with good quality skis and boots available for hire at the hotel made for a stress free arrival. Rooms were clean and comfortable . Excellent and substantial four course traditional Austrian meals. After a day skiing the free sauna and jacuzzi were very...

Booked this hotel through Crystals Ski Holiday as a last minute deal at a great price. I had read the reports on Tripadvisor and there were a few bad reviews and negative comments so we were unsure what to expect. If you want five star luxury this hotel is not for you, but if you are happy with clean basic...

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times now and every time it's been fantastic. The staff have always been extremely helpful and accommodating. The bus required to get to the slopes stops just outside the hotel, which is very handy when you are nursing that delicate head from the night before. After a busy day boarding the set up at...

I enjoyed a weeks holiday at the Gotznerhof in early February. The location of the hotel is excellent with a bus stop (going towards Mutters) at the end of the car park, alternatively the bus to Axamer Lizum is only a short walk away. I found all the staff really very friendly, helpful and attentive. The evening buffet was excellent,...

We stayed for 1 week in this hotel for our ski holiday. Breakfast and dinner were served in buffet style, every day a variety of salads, main courses and desserts including fresh fruit. Staff and owners were attentive and friendly... But nearly no hot water in the room for a shower after a long day of skiing, worn out bed...poor...

“Given the other reviews, I'd say check to make sure you have a renovated room. A room on the top floor is probably quietest (but might be a little cool in winter), and a room at the front boasts nice views.”
