The El Castillo Hotel down the road from Uvita has a million dollar view. They have six rooms 2x Suites at about $500, 2x Rooms with a View $390 and 2x Jungle View Rooms at $290 a night with breakfast. The staff will treat you like a King and Queen. The food is priced right for the quality. Sushi Night...

This place is awesome, and the views are incredible. We rented a house down the road and ended up going here regularly for drinks, good food and lounging in the infinity pool. The freshly made frozen mojitos were dreamy. It's very nice but not stuffy.

We stayed here as a couple at the end of March for a special anniversary and are both of the opinion this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is very rare to find a perfect location, perfect accommodation and perfect customer service but this hotel scores 5* + for all of them. From the initial email...

Finding the perfect place to celebrate my 50th B day was hard. Somehow I ended up reading some reviews about El Castillo and I reached out to Scott about planning our trip. Let me just say that he sold me from his first email. He was so great to work with about the planning and then we arrived...FANTASTIC! Scott and...

We turned off the main road that goes through Uvita and Ojochal and ascended to the driveway for El Castillo. From the flowering vines hanging over the car park, bubbling fountain, views of mountains behind it, seemingly endless ocean views in front of it-- I knew we made the right choice when we pulled up to El Castillo. I researched...

Great location, easy to get to if you have a car. Tons of things to do around this area, it is a quieter area than the central pacific. Lovely views. The tour company that operates with the hotel is great, we took two different kayak tours, both great, our guide was a knowledgeable local guy named Ever, he was really...

Take a small boat to a simple island. Walk through with your captain/guide. See a flock of Scarlet Macaw. Enjoy cocktails in fresh coconuts. Sunset on a beautiful beach, shared with no one else. Eat a delicious dinner under the stars surrounded by torches. Then sip after dinner drinks on beach chairs while watching your Bon fire turn to simmering...
