We had the remarkable stay at this place, which turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our honeymoon trip. The hotel's on-site restaurant was a delightful surprise, serving up a fantastic food. Mr Brandon (the owner) is a great chef xd. Adding to the hotel's allure was its convenient location, with just 2 minutes walk to the Ski resort lift and a rental shop (if you don't bring ur own Ski/snownboard stuff) !! Also only 5-minute walk from the hot springs. This proximity allowed us easy access to one of the area's top attractions, making our snow trip more relaxing Overall, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, many thanks to the thoughtful gestures of Brandon and all the other staff. Will definitely revisit!!

We stayed a week ago. What a week we had great service at Red Fox Lodge. Lift right outside and the snow was fantastic. Only rest you get is when you are on the lifts. Brendon the owner is there to help you . Thank you. Mary and family. Best to rent your own car.

We had an amazing time at RedFox with our family of 5. Rooms were large and clean, food was fresh and tasty, facilities were great and you cant beat the location being right on the slopes. Brendan and the team really looked after us and made our stay lots of fun and memorable. Can fault anything really apart from would have liked to have stayed longer. Would highly recommend a visit

We had a wonderful stay at Red Fox Lodge over the Christmas break. Brendan and his team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a memorable one. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The Den restaurant was a great little spot to make sure we were well fed before going out to ski. The lodge is a little outside of the main town of Myoko, but there's a ski lift right out of the back door, so there's really no reason to ever leave Red Fox! And hanging out by the fireplace while the kids played games was a great place to relax. Brendan helped us in so many ways. He's a man of many skills! A ski instructor, chef, handyman, and overall good guy. Really wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us navigate the town of Myoko, getting our ski rentals, and making sure we were on time for our different adventures. The next time we're in Myoko, we're definitely staying at Red Fox!

Great family-owned lodge in amazing ski in-ski-out location. Wonderful accommodating hosts cooked us great food with our dietary requirements met. Very comfy beds, amenities like laundry and theatre room. Suginosawa is a lovely town and close to nearby Akakura for nightlife. Would stay again!

Absolutely fabulous lodge with a location that can not be beaten. It literally has the ski lift at the back door and is truly ski in. We had an ensuite room with a mountain view which was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. USB charging points next to the bed were very handy. Brendan, family and his staff were super friendly and helpful. Brendan is multi talented: he is a very good snow board teacher and a qualified chef. Steak cooked to perfection, delicious Australian wines, and continental breakfasts with pastries, cereals, toast, juices, tea and coffee etc meant that our ski pants were a little tighter by the time to leave! Lots of communal lounge areas which were great for the teenagers and a fab fire place to relax in front of. We have talked our friends into coming here as well. Red Fox Lodge does NOT disappoint!

Our stay at red fox lodge was absolutely sensational. The owner Brendan was beyond accommodating and friendly, the lodge itself is comfortable and welcoming, and to top it all off the chair lift for the popular Sugi mountain is just outside the back door. I will definitely be coming back again next year. Thank you Red Fox!

My friend and I spent our last week of our trip at Red Fox Lodge, and our only regret was not staying there longer! The location was convenient being right at the bottom of the Romance Chair of Suginohara Ski Resort (our favourite resort to board at in Myoko). This meant saving money on shuttle buses everyday which is a huge bonus, plus the view of the mountain is incredible. Besides it’s convenience and picturesque views, our stay was very comfortable. Large rooms with comfortable beds, good amenities and hot showers, access to the fully equipped kitchen, excellent wifi and even a chrome cast in our room! Brendan the lodge owner is super lovely and accommodating and always willing to help. The lodge has a very friendly and social vibe which made us feel right at home. Thank you for having us!

Incredibly fast free wifi, large spacious rooms with a tone of storage space but the absolute deal winner is the location as you can ride the 8.5km from the top to the front door of the lodge and get to the chairlift with an easy 20 metre walk in the mornings. Appreciate the hospitality Brendon, cheers mate.

Planning a mountain getaway? Look no further! After reading about the incredible snow and terrain around Myoko, I was looking for a cozy place to rest after a long day of waist deep powder. Decided on red fox lodge based on it's amazing proximity to the legendary Suginohara ski resort... and my goodness it did not disappoint!! The room boasted a spectacular view of the entire mountain and the romance lift, that was only a snowball's throw away. The bed was comfortable, and the entire room was extremely clean and decorated in a tasteful fashion. While eating breakfast in the dining room, I could still take in the breathtaking views of the area, and would get stoked for the day of riding ahead while watching the lifties clearing mounds of snow off the chairlift. The convenient dry-room/storage kept all my gear dry for the following morning, which is a huge plus when your day is spent swimming through powder. Amenities aside, the family who owns the lodge are very lovely people and will gladly go out of their way to give you the best stay possible. Seriously, I have been boasting to all my friends in Canada about what an amazing experience this was, and Red Fox Lodge was a huge reason I enjoyed my time so much. Thank you all again! Just see for yourself, there's no where else you'd rather be!!
