This place was great. I stayed here after seeing from Snow Japan website had this placed marked as English speaking. Last thing I wanted was to be struggling in a small local town with English. Myoko town area itself has 4 different ski resorts and Suginohara was a whopper of a resort. Akakura was good but didnt get an opportunity...

The first thing that struk me about this 'Pension' was the fact that Mike (the owner) would give me a lift every day to wherever I wanted to go for nothing... I did offer but to his credit he simply refused! This was massively helpful as we could check out three seperate ski resort which were fairly far apart from...

The friendly couple running the B&B speak fluent English and Japanese which is great for foreigners visiting Japan. They serve a very generous breakfast and very tasty home cooked western food. Very laid back and casual atmosphere with a big LCD...
