Great bar - bustling, warm, welcoming atmosphere, good food. Stayed for one night with parents. Clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful location by the loch. Nearby brochs worth a visit - impressive circular structures! Would come back.

Arrived on the Sunday at Glenelg and popped along to the famous Glenelg Inn for a spot of dinner that evening. The setting, the ambience, the staff and the welcome all suggested this was going to be good. Three courses later and having met most of the team, we were hooked. We ate there every night for the next five...

Thank you for a wonderful stay. A simply stunning location - the photo below was taken from in front of the Inn. The bar has a lovely fire and a friendly welcome and the evening meal was delicious. Will be back! Alison

We stopped by whilst out for a run in the car on a beautiful October day. The bar is dog friendly and very quaint. We had two courses but had we known the the portion of fish and chips you get is colossal, we wouldn't have had starters. Fish beautifully cooked in light crispy better, real home made chips, peas...

10 thirsty hill walkers stopped off for a pint and stayed for two! Great location with the garden looking across the sound to skye. Lovely cosy country pub with a fire and some good real ale. Didn't try the food but the menus looked well worth further investigation.

We travelled up to Glenelg from Edinburgh with friends to spend the night. The Inn is the epitome of cosy, low ceilings, plush but rustic furnishings and a friendly whippet to greet you. We enjoyed a pleasant dinner in the restaurant and relished sitting amongst the locals. The rooms were comfortable and the bed large. Lots of hot water for...

Loved the place as soon as we walked in, after drive through majestic scenery. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room with glorious view across to Skye. Excellent bathroom. Fine food, fire to sit by. Staff were lovely. Bar is jolly and relaxed, and Glenelg ( Earth) is a pretty village, twinned with Glenelg (Mars), apparently. Take the little ferry across...

This place is great. We had nowhere booked 48 hours after our initial stay so decided to revisit, despite being at the ope of Skye for the night in between. There's a roaring fire, lovely owner, really friendly staff, excellent food, great atmosphere and a pool table. Glenelg is a captivating bay, is surrounded by hills and has a tiny...

Travelled across the mountain from Dornie for lunch here. Weather atrocious but the welcome v warm and the food delicious, limited lunch menu but adequate. Visited the Iron Age ruins after lunch but the winds were high so we decided to head back across the mountain.
