Not very well run hotel very short of staff with long waits at the bar. Very poor selection of beer and although the food was cooked well there was no vegetables. The room was excellent so they did get something right.

We found the menu here rather over fussy and slightly pretentious. Although the food was of good quality, well cooked and presented, portions were rather meagre and not ideally suited to walkers who had been out on the hills all day. The staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed.

This was our first dinner in Scotland and we literally pulled off the side of the road to the pub because we were hungry. The food did not disappoint! It was delicious and they offered their own rendition of haggis in a potato lasagne looking thing. Much easier to swallow for a tourist! Choose from one of the specials on...

We stopped in for lunch and were met at the door by a friendly border collie, Bailey, with a ball in his mouth. We'd been missing our pets and this was a very welcome sight for us. We were the only customers in the pub at the time as it was early on a weekday. We were amazed at the...

This is the second time we have visited this area of Scotland (last time was in 2015) and knew we had to come back to Kintail Lodge for dinner. We were not disappointed. The ownership has changed since we last visited, but we were glad to see that the standard of the food has not. We both had very tasty...

One of the most iconic scenes in the movie 'An American Werewolf in London' is that in which the two American boys walk into the rural pub, 'The Slaughtered Lamb'. As they open the door the locals are gossiping, laughing, playing darts and singing. Suddenly, everything stops as the boys walk through the door. All eyes are turned to the...

Never stayed here. Camped out by Morvich & walked the 4 mile return leg for 2 nights back in October. 2 braw nights to be had there with good food, good crack & friendly staff. Live band on a Saturday too. I'll be back when in the area.

My wife and I stayed a night at Kintail on Wednesday 3 May. The room was very comfortable, with a view of the Loch. The food was excellent (fresh fish) and the staff very friendly. We left after a delicious breakfast, in glorious sunshine.
