The dining room was lovely. We saw it for breakfast, on Tuesdays the family does not serve dinner. A bit of a problem, our choices were limited and it was tourist season. Took a while to find somewhere to eat. They did warn us. And in the future I will make dinner reservations anywhere and guess where I will be...

Stayed here one night as the base to explore Isle of Skye. It was at a quiet location off the main road. The staff at this charming little hotel made us feel welcome with cheerful attitude and great service even better then some five star hotels. We had two sea facing rooms on the second floor. It didn't come cheap...

This was our last stop on our Scottish journey through the highlands and it also turned out to be the perfect ending. As a three star family run small hotel it deserves nothing but five stars. The pomp and circumstance that you'd get in a bigger and finer hotel may not be there but that's more than compensated for by...

The location of the Tingle Creek is good, just 5 minute drive from the bridge to Skye. The room was average but clean, and the ventilation in the bathroom left much to be desired (!) but the restaurant served fantastic food, and Andrew was incredibly friendly, helpful, and the most chipper guy at 7:30am. His sunny disposition really made our...

Breakfast at Tingle Creek was very good. Our room was well appointed and very clean but too small. People who design these rooms seem to forget travellers have luggage. Those travelling a long way may have a full-sized suitcase each. By the time these are open and the superfluous cushions that decorate the bed have been put somewhere, there is...

Pleasant management, nice room, quite small, excellent quality linen. Very good shower. Noise does carry but it didn't bother us. Good wifi. Breakfasts good but finish at 9am which I think is far too early for people on holiday. Decor cosy. Was a little disappointed on arrival, as Not quite as close to water edge as it looks on website....

Very friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful views of the sea. Comfortable rooms and nice lounge area with bar and restaurant. Car is needed to get into town, but close by walks to the shore are minutes away.
