Very friendly hosts.keen to suggest places of interest and the best places to eat. The room was cosy with it's bathroom in a 'cupboard' the only thing I didn't like was the half used toiletries left in the bathroom and shower - it made me think they'd been left from a previous occupier. A wee dram left for us was... More

Thank you for your review, as in common with the vast majority of B & B's they are family homes adapted to take guests the bathroom in the cupboard is quite true however, this was extended to accommodate all the features including steam cabin and luxury shower, WC, wash basin, towel rail, with regard to the "free toiletries" these are... By far my favorite B&B we stayed at in Scotland. Kate makes a fantastic breakfast and Roy is just a sweet as can be! They're both extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They'll give you restaurant suggestions (knowing which are closed on which night of the week) and will also give suggestions of what to do out on... More

We were welcomed on our arrival at Craig Dubh by Kate and Roy who ensured we were settled in comfortably. We had the Garden Room which had the view of the popular bird table in the garden. The room was small as expected but had all of the comforts necessary for a pleasant couple of nights in the Kyle and... More

The welcome at Creag Dubh is second to none. Roy and Kate made us feel very welcome. Also Kate's cooking was a particular highlight - a former and currently 'back up' cook at the Tingle Creek hotel, my eggs benedict was excellent. Situated 2 miles outside the Kyle of Localsh, the location is quiet, scenic and convenient for Skye bridge.... More

Stayed at Creag Dubh on a flying visit to the Highlands with a friend. Despite arriving late and having to leave early, our experience of Creag Dubh was absolutely fantastic. From stepping through the door having just walked in the dark from Kyle, we were made to feel welcomed into their home by Roy and Kate. The room was immaculate... More

Very warm welcome, the made us feel very welcom. Nice room, with a nice view over the water. Excellent breakfast. The nearby hotel has a good restaurant. We spent the night here after a bus trip on the Isle of Skye.

Stayed one night but it was easy to tell that the owners worked very hard at making the place a great wee place to stay. You could not asked for a better breakfast to set you on your way. Other than the size, everything was very good. Bed was comfortable. Clean. Hosts were friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The usb sockets in the outlets were a very welcome addition – only B&B we stayed at that had these! The bedroom had a small path around the double bed and dresser and the bathroom was maybe 1 x 2... We only stayed the one night in the garden view double. The room had a small ensuite shower room. Our hosts provided a basket of shower products which was very nice. Comfortable bed in the room and it was also nice and warm as the evening was chilly. Breakfast was very nice with orders required the night before. Both cooked... More

Spent 2 nights in this wonderful B&B. Kate and Roy were friendly and warm hosts, and were extremely helpful in assisting us to plan the rest of our trip and giving us some local insights. Room was clean, with wonderful small touches such as kettle, water, tea, coffee, biscuits in the room itself. Everything from towels, hair dryer to toiletries... More
