I do not usually review, the ratings are always very subjective but with the Hotel Gran Baita Pozza di Fassa I can not help but have my say. We were their guests already last year and this year they almost booked my girls ... They, and it was difficult to do so, exceeded our expectations once again. Strategically located location, the riverfront with a short and pleasant walk leads to the center of the village. The staff everything is friendly, kind but never intrusive. Extremely thorough cleaning of the room and common areas, one day we forgot to remove the “do not disturb” when the thing came out because they needed towels insisted on redoing the room, it was 10 pm. The buffet at dinner time is rich and varied and the dishes served at the table are exquisite and cured in the plating, The mini club is very nice and offers many activities, Angela is really competent and affectionate. Special mention for the Spa, very nice, Anna is a fantastic masseuse, very professional and kind. I tried the decontracting massage and with hay, the
my girls the eagle; at the end of the treatment we were all very satisfied and relaxed, a real treat for body and soul. Torneremo!

I stayed at this hotel in August with my large family (5 children of all ages from a baby to a teenager). I must say that if the views are truly enchanting and remain carved in the heart, so are the attentions that this family hotel reserves to its guests.
The cuisine is truly exceptional, with attention to flavors and presentation, with various possibilities for even the most sophisticated palates. The table service is quick, courteous and really impeccable (in our case it was Luciano who followed us day by day, always with a smile and managing to find the right solutions to the varied requests of my children). The Hotel offers possibilities for excursions and daily activities always different but never intrusively and also offering indications for possible alternatives. Very good external service of Bikes that we got to experience and that we greatly appreciated. The Mini Club is really big, allows various activities, cheers with small shows outside or inside (my children especially enjoyed the afternoon with the various animals proposed by the structure) and entertainment for all ages and always in safety. The rooms, in our case 2 communicating, were large, spotless and with every comfort and from the balconies you could enjoy a beautiful landscape on the surrounding mountains. The Spa is one of the flagships of this structure, curated by Anna with personalized treatments and relaxing environments in which it is really pleasant to be pampered. The Reception really up to scratch: availability, courtesy and efficiency the words that characterize it. A treat the snack, much appreciated by young people and not only, always very varied, tasty and designed for all palates.
I thought I should find a mole a week spent in this beautiful Family hotel. I only managed to find it in the duration of the holiday itself. But for this there is remedy and I with my family plan to return soon even at different times than in summer to appreciate the change in landscapes.
Truly a structure that lives up to everything

Passing through Val di Fassa we were kindly accepted as guests outside the restaurant for their evening menu.
Generally we have never had particular satisfaction from the menus of hotels with Pension, which is why we prefer B&B or Apartments but here we were really impressed by the quality of the preparations and the raw material used.
A risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffles and lamb chops, tender and cooked to perfection, are still in our memories. But even desserts are not trivial. Varied and rich buffet of vegetables / appetizers.
Recepition and staff very professional, helpful and courteous.
The Hotel (a Family) we report it more than positively also for what we could see and perceive in the common rooms, the veranda and the garden. It's definitely advisable.

The structure offers different solutions with more or less large rooms, we chose the grand family suite and it was really spacious. The organization is impeccable, as is the attention paid to children, the dishes brought for dinner are truly top and the cleanliness is exceptional. The only flaw is the lack of a smart TV in the room.

We have known the Gran Baita since 2015, the year Fabrizio and Denise took over the management, since then we have always chosen it for our winter holidays. We have seen the growth of the structure that has always improved over the years. Also this year we found rooms and common areas clean and comfortable staff always kind, attentive and discreet both in the rooms and in the room (thank you especially Luciano and Desirée) and kitchen of undoubted quality never trivial. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their holidays in the name of quality and courtesy and the impeccable professionalism of Fabrizio and Denise.

With my family we stayed at this hotel in early July, we had a great time!
Our room (junior suite without balcony) was really large and suited to our needs.
The only flaw is that the sitting area / second bedroom overlooked the main street and was a little noisy, but it did not particularly bother us.

Eat really good, maybe a little 'repetitive appetizers and breakfasts, but still all good.
We were followed by Simone who was always very kind and helpful, both with us and with our children (our big child is autistic and was really kind to him)

Staff at the reception really great, they gave us various great tips on various trips to do.
The children loved the garden and every time we went out they stopped by the two bunnies.

The baby club room very nice, we used it little though😅

We enjoyed the welcome drink, but not the gala dinner for the organization in the room (but enjoyed the food).

The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from Piazza di Pozza, which can be reached from both the main road and a secondary road accessible from the garden, from which you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Returned today after 8 days of vacation at this property: it was just a perfect holiday!

The managers Denise and Fabrizio have really thought of everything, guaranteeing an excellent service especially to families with children, offering the opportunity to live moments of tranquility and family fun, sometimes only to children, in the area dedicated to the mini club and sometimes only to parents, with theme nights and lively and fun aperitifs.

I will try to be brief, but it is important to make the idea:
- impeccable cleanliness (fundamental for us) both in the rooms and in the common areas,
- cuisine worthy of a fine restaurant, dishes never taken for granted, quality dishes (congratulations to the chef to all kitchen collaborators!)
- Friendly and never intrusive room service (thanks to Michela and all colleagues)
- Professional and courteous bar service (thanks for everything Flori!!)
- Spa spotless and equipped (excellent professional operators thank you very much)
- Shuttle service to the ski areas excellent (in 8 days never moved the car...)

And then a heartfelt thanks to all the staff of the mini club, to Angela first of all and then to Anna, Simone, Mattia and Rebecca, really special people, for following our children (aged 6 and 3) to the snow park at the ciampedie, to the hotel miniclub in the afternoons after skiing, making them have fun and be together with other children, leaving them a beautiful memory of this holiday.

We will definitely be back.

We recommend everyone!

We spent a few days in this hotel and it was a real hell. We were not informed that it had been almost entirely booked by a group of families from the east which made the stay a living hell! Continuous noise at all hours, noisy and impractical spa, problems of continuous quarrels at the kids club, bottles and smoke everywhere. We complained but nobody did anything. A shame! Upside-down hotels and helpless owners. We then left knowing that the group would continue the holiday for another few days. Never again

Unbalanced cost/services ratio. Terrible room, the smallest uncomfortable bathroom I have ever had in the various hotel rooms I have stayed in for 24 years now all over the world. Wellness center without swimming pool, essential for families with children (it seems to have been a management choice to have the children follow the mini club, which makes no sense because not all children want to do activities with the mini club, many like my daughter prefer relax when they don't go to school or are divided between various activities). Mediocre breakfast. The first dinner was good, the Easter dinner was a disaster (an aperitif was offered without appetizers). Good snacks. Excellent massage given by the talented young masseuse. Overall I would go back just for the massage and not for anything else.
