We camped at this location in our 4x4 with roof tent. We got the Cave location which was simply amazing with spectacular scenery. The amount of work the owner has put into creating this location is unbelieavable. Pictures won't do it justice, you have to see it. The camping location was so remote and quiet with only the sound of... More

We arrived at lunchtime at the Omamdumba farm in the Erongo krater. For lunch our hostess had prepared a selction of salads, homemade bread and goat cheese, which should be awarded with a gold medal. Close to the farm we visited a Living Museum of the San and we were allowed to hunt for the old rockpaintings on farm land.... More

We totally loved it. We had been staying, alone, in this "wild" place near the San (boshimans). The place is stunning and you can really feel nature... but! it had a fireplace, a water conduct and even a toilet (too funny). DON'T MISS IT!!! P.S.: say hello to the lovely Mrs Pom :)

A most welcoming family run farm in fantastic nature! Very nice simple food, comfortable and clean rooms. Super nature experience, our kids loved the dogs on the farm going for walks with them and were allowed on all the other farm activities like brining out the goats etc. Interesting tours within a view km around the farm including a impressive... We camped on one of the campsites kilometers away from the farm buildings and other campsites and where we were totally alone in nature. There was a drinking place for the animals nearby and animals were regularly seen from the campsite. For city slickers like us it was a memorable experience to observe the night sky. The camping site had... More

Where to start.......made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Travelling as a family (with a 4 and 7 year old) it was a much more interesting to stay on a family run farm than in a nondescript hotel. Kids got to learn a bit about farm life, given lessons on the incredible stary skies, could even have... More

We stayed at the campsite, we were all alone in this beautiful part of the farm, and had it all to ourselves. It was great, everything worked out well, we had good shade and the sunset was beautiful. It was a hot day so we enjoyed a cool shower. We slept well, the night was cool and we woke up... More

In fact we did not have the feeling as though there was a lot of interest in our stay. As we were told that the rooms were built the year before we expected pretty new rooms. We found: - rooms with a strange smell coming from the toilet. - if the rooms were really one year old, then the toilet... More

We toured Namibia for 6 weeks and our children (5 and 7 years) still talk so much about Omandumba. It really was a wonderful ‘family’ experience in many regards and quite different from what you usually find on other guest farms. Eating together, having very informative talks, playing with the animals, exploring the beautiful settings of the farm, climbing huge... More

We stayed here for just one night. Too bad for us. I could have stayed 2-3 -- so that we could have seen more sights around the farm (which could also be thought of as a very large ranch). The rooms are basic, but new, clean and roomy. The best part is the communal meals and the socializing around the... More
