Arrived here on our first night of our honeymoon to stay, had booked the luxury tent but arrived with looks of confusion (our agency maybe forgot to send the paperwork? Not sure). Got offered a bungalow as the tent was classified "not luxurious". Bungalow was clean. Food was good, had yummy orrix. Left early next morning with a lunch pack... More

the bungalows are spacious and have air-conditioning. The lodge is run by German speaking Namibians and you usually meet many Germans there as guests. Monika, the host, was very nice and helped us book a visit to our next stop. The host, not very talkative overall, more talked about the negative sides of Namibia (crime, little rain), while I would... More

Easy to find the farm.Good road. Very very clean rooms. Liked the air-conditioner in the heat of the day. Hands-on approach by Monica and her husband makes a difference. As they were fully booked we had a room facing towards the entrance-book in advance and asked for a room facing towards the Acasia trees. Lovely large, clean pool not far from rooms.

We stayed in the luxury tent with a view of the waterhole from our terrace. Clean, very neat and comfortable. Separate kitchen was well equipped with stove and small fridge. Fireplace stocked with plenty firewood. Manager was very friendly and welcoming. Great pool area and shaded public terrace.

Stay as you are and enjoy your last 2 years as wonderfull hosts. Your fireplace ritual and the diverse buffet each night is only on of the thing we gladly remember. Do not miss the complete game drives - These are fun and educating. PS Cedrik ist der Knaller!

We spent 3 nights at Onduruquea on this our 6th trip to Namibia. We were looking for a lodge to rest up at after our flight from Berlin. What we didn't expect but got, given the write-ups, was an interesting game drive. We saw an animal we had never seen before, a sable. English was not the first language of... More

I will start with the positive features: the food is good and the hosts are accomodating, although a bit unusual in our view. This place is highly recommended in many travel guides, despite being far off the sights and beaten tracks. If you intend to stay at place with mostly very German traditions and do not mind the furnishing of... More

The guesthouse is located deep into a large property and is extremely neat and clean. The bungalows are large with a mini-bar and some face the watering hole frequented at night by a variety of animals. The managing family are kind, open hearted and generous. As a solo traveller I was made to feel welcome at the dinner and breakfast... More

The bungalows are very neat, large and well equipped, but most bungalows do not have nice views and feel disconnected from nature. If you want brick paved surfaces and accommodation surrounded by a brick wall on a farm, this is the place for you - suburbia recreated, not a grain of dust. Events like afternoon coffee and dinner happen punctually.... More

On your way to Etosha or Caprivi, this is the ideal stopover. The lodge is small, with 10 bungalows, all well furnished. They serve good rural food. You can start your safari experience here with a short trip of approx 2.5 hours around the lodge. The managing family is very kind and offers great, individual service.
