Ai-Aiba is something different. A lodge hidden in the mountains with beautiful hiking routes in the mountains, taking you on routes for amazing photo shoots. Bungalows are excellent with air conditioning. Tariffs are reasonable, especially for Namibians. The restaurant and swimming pool is great. Food...More

Thanks for the wonderful review. it is always great to have Namibians visit us so thanks for making the effort and we look forward to hosting you again soon.
i could not fault the lodge itself-beautiful place, lovely room, lovely pool, food was good (except the desserts for some reason). My only criticism is that the staff did not seem to know much about rock paintings there or elsewhere . we asked on our...More

We stayed here for one night during a month long tour of Namibia. The setting is truly amazing. We were greeted on our arrival with some delicious refreshing iced tea. Our room was lovely with a huge window and terrace both overlooking the landscape below....More
If first impressions are anything to go by - Ai-Aiba gets the nod before you have even arrived at the Lodge. The drive through the Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy is breathtaking with huge boulders strewn across the rugged landscape - almost otherworldy. The Erongo Mountains...More

Hi Sue. Sorry for the late response.
The distance between Ai Aiba Lodge and the Spitzkoppe Mountains is about 90km. But, these road are not in great condition and require slow and careful driving. This distance will take about 1.5 hours but could take as long as 2 hours based on how quickly you drive and how much wildlife you see along the way. It is a very scenic and stunning drive but one that must be done slowly. I hope this helps but please let us know if you need any further info.
Many thanks, Roger
