We arrived at the end of season but it was still very nice. Amazing food, very kind and helpful staff, hotel very clean. Gardens of the hotel look beautiful. Long, beautiful beaches but the town around not very big and offering much to do. Still we were absolutely content as the hotel and a little bit of sightseeing gave us all we needed 😍😍

Just come home from a week here... We had a basic room which was comfortable and very clean with regular maid service.. The food was varied and fresh and of good quality.. The pools and communal areas were kept clean and tidy and ALL the staff were excellent and covid friendly.. The beach is a 2 min walk and very good and the resort seemed quiet which was fine for us.... We seemed to be the only English at the time but the German's were not a problem😆 We would definitely go to this hotel again. Thank you...👍

Ok. Let's do the downsides first. 1. If you want the beach, you are a mile away from it, so you can walk, (about 35 minutes), hire a bicycle, or get a taxi which will cost you €6.00. Ok. Now for the plus sides. 1. Lovely, quiet location. 2. Very few children. Mostly middle age couples. 3. No loud music. 4. Excellent restaurant and bar. 5. Comfy beds. We didn't need the air con either, even though the temperature was 25-29 degrees. 6. The staff are sooo friendly. Sophia, who cleaned our rooms every day, is absolutely lovely. 7. Food is cooked freshly. I particularly liked the saganaki and the chicken dishes. Wait till you see the chicken roasted on the beer bottle! 8. Knowledgeable staff. Amy tips they know they freely pass on to you. 9. The local archaeology in Kos is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed Casa Romana (the Roman house), ancient Angora and the western archaeology site. 10. Petros- what can I say? Greets you with a friendly "good morning" - at 7pm in the evening. Or an equally friendly "good evening" at 10am. He never stops working! As he said himself, "at the end of october I can have five months off." So, it's a 2 star, but a very good 2 star. My wife, and I, for two, will be back. We've still lots of exploring to do on this wonderful island.

Our family spent a week from 2 until 9 sept at this hotel . We had a great time, the beach is just across the hotel entrance. Enough food options at the Buffet with super friendly staff. Apart from the pools, decent entertainment options for younger kids. Would definitely go back.

We where expecting a simple all inclusive from the information we got from our travel arrangers but was positively surprised. The food, both breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good. A lot to choose from and with good variation from day to day. We have stayed at other full all inclusive hotels with less variation and much lower standard of food than Sandy Beach. We had a family room wich was spacious, fresh and clean. The only bad thing about this hotel is that the hotel staff think it’s ok for younger children to dive, run and jump into the pools when clearly it’s not allowed and also dangerous, both for themselves and for other persons.
