CBH was a very clean place to stay with lots of toys, games and DVDs for the kiddies. The beach was great to walk along and play with the solider crabs, look for shells and enjoy the outdoors. It was a nice distance from all the attractions of the Tasman Peninsula, yet remote enough to feel like you were all...

The convict beach house was the perfect base for our young family to see the south eastern part of Tasmania. The cottage was very homely and comfortable with brilliant views! Ample space for the kids to run around and also a great cubby! A washing machine would be a useful addition to the cottage.

Easily found & the cottage has great amenities with a deck to sit on and look over the water. Our host gave us good directions for a walk on the beach & nearby sites to visit.

As a surprise birthday present, a holiday with my husband and girls, I couldn't have asked for more. The unit was perfect, clean, fully self contained and suited us down to the ground. We were close enough to all of the attractions, but far enough away to be quiet, secluded and very private. We can't get back there soon enough-...

This was a great place to stay. It was our first trip to Tasmania, so i didn't know much about the place. The Convict Beach House wasn't as close to Port Arthur as i had imagined, but it was only about 20 mins drive. The rooms were compact, but very comfortable. There was a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful...

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxed and romantic weekend in this lovely cottage. The private beach and kayak were an added bonus, especially for the surprise proposal that my partner made on the sand. We couldn't have imagined a more romantic and perfect setting for our special escape. The cottage is very private on an extremely quiet stretch of the peninsula,...
