We (as a family!) love camping at the Pemi River Campground. The sites are a great size and with the sand, even if it rains you have great drainage. Electric is at each site and they have a beach where you can either swim or enjoy the sunshine. They offer kayak, canoe and tubing...along with a shuttle service! The store... More

our family has been coming back to pemi river for 7 summers. The owner is a gem. Always greets us with a smile and we feel like we are returning to visit old friends when we arrive. We come with 20-30 people usually 5-6 families with lots of kids in age from 2-15. The river sites are beautiful, the kids... More

My Family and I, including two small dogs camped at the Pemi River Campground over Columbus Day weekend.. Beautiful weather, great river site that had a nice view. This was our first stay here and we enjoyed it. Our site was fairly spacious along the river for our Pop Up. yes, the sites are close together but the view makes... More

it is noisy and the roads are terrible! Huge tree roots to drive over. The worst thing that happened was as we were leaving one day two men in a golf cart were sitting there watching us. Never said - word but when we came back our fire ring was moved over to the next spot and we didn't have... More

Well not sure where to start .. Owner incredibly rude when we arrived seemed to be very irritated we were even there. The site down by the water was more like a beach with sand and we were told after setting up our tent that we were right in the line of the drainage when it rains and to move... More

Stayed 3rd weekend in August 2015 - Managed to get number 32 site on the river - Water electric $100 for weekend with tax. Shady site great for taking down and putting up tents you won't be as hot. What a great site for river views in the AM with morning fog haze over the river. Day time you can... More

I stayed here at a pull through site, booked week prior. We scouted out this campground last summer and decided to stay here 5 days with a travel trailer. Was disappointed with pull through site as there was not a lot of privacy. Every site is fairly close to the beach but we were amongst a lot of seasonals. It... More

First day, 2 vehicles pulled into site 30 "just for the day (they left around 6pm)" and saw them stealing wood from seasonal sites. Second day a caravan of 8 trucks with 28 people pulled in and set up next to us on 2 sites. (they had a 3rd site further down where they set up the Kids tents.) The... More

I've stayed here on 3 separate occasions with the most recent being 7/1/15-7/5/15. Campground is relatively small but has nice sites and clean bathrooms and shower facilities. It is very close to Loon Mtn and Clarks trading Post. It also has horseshoe pits and a mini golf course but no camp store to speak of. They also rent canoes and... More

We love staying at the Pemi River Campground. The owner keeps the place very clean and the sites are well placed, along the river. They are also dog friendly! They also rent tubes, kayacs and canoes! They will also shuttle you up the river, so you land right at the beach, along the river. Great place to stay and will... More
