Our hosts John and Mary (and their German Shepard Klaus) were so welcoming when we arrived. John showed us all the features of this B&B like the heated floor in the bathroom and goodies in the fridge and on the night stand along with recommendations and descriptions of the restaurants nearby. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and all... More

The Inn at Welch Mountain was wonderful! Guests enjoy a large, spacious, comfortable suite on the first floor of the chalet, including a living room with TV, a fabulous, modern bathroom (with a large rainfall shower) and a large bedroom, which is super-dark and quiet at night. The bedroom has a mini fridge stocked with water, soda and cream for... More

This B&B has one suite only. We knew we were at the right place when Klaus (german shepherd) met us at the end of the drive. You have a private entrance with sitting room (2 sofas, LCD TV, games, books, piano). Bedroom is separate and has stove for wintertime. Bathroom is down a hallway and has a shower and 2... More

Best full breakfasts we ever had at any B&B - hand crafted w/home grown fruits, vegs, and even the eggs. The suite we rented is private, quiet, and very homey. Innkeepers were very helpful in suggestions for everything from eateries to activities both on their property and the local area. The chalet is snuggled in the woods on a mountain,... More

The inn owners really went out of their way and thought of every detail to make our stay a very special one! We arrived on the later side (around 11pm) since we drove a long distance - even though we were very late the inn owner's wife was still up to great us, show us the room, and give us... More

Highly recommend this B and B. When visiting Waterville Valley, there is no point staying "in the village". This BandB is a short 5 minutes. The hosts are delightful, the accommodations are meticulously clean, the suite is spacious and very comfortable, heated floor in tiled bath. We were welcomed with great cookies, our own Keurig coffee/tea service, in room gas... More

We stayed at the Chalet for two nights and enjoyed every moment! John and Mary are wonderful hosts; very kind and welcoming. Just like everyone says, the breakfast is to die for. I highly suggest eating on their porch if the weather is right. Another suggestion, take John up on his offer for a fire out front! On our second... More

Stayed there one night to attend a wedding in the area. John and Mary, our hosts, were gracious as they were friendly. Mary even found us on the access road after our GPS couldn't track the location once inside the national forest, and she escorted us back to the B&B where John was waiting to greet us. We stayed at... More

I was a day early to meet friends in Conway and decided to take the longer journey across New Hampshire and wanted to spend a night near the west end of the Kancamagus Highway.
