Good location, very central..and popular, cause is in all guide books... cheap but horrible... The room very small without space for the luggage. No window.. Under the mattress carton board, perfect for bed bugs and other insects... Smoking smell... The shared bathroom didn't reach out...More
But you can better spend your money somewhere else. Where people are smiling.
I stayed 4 days, 3 nights, then I went trekking for 3 days. When I came back, I was not a customer anymore. I had to pay for use toilets 2 mins.
Stayed here for only 1 night so I could go on the Kalaw to Inle Lake trek by Jungle King Trekking (owned by the hostel). Although, I wouldn't recommend staying at the hostel, I highly recommend booking a trek here and asking for Cindy. She...More
Rooms are very cheap and so it is difficult to complain about how basic they are. Even so the bathrooms are dirty and I don't think the sheets get washed very often.

I stayed only one night. Considering the price, the rooms are more than fine with basic furniture. The common toilets though were not working and I didn't dare taking a shower.
I also booked the 3 day trekking with them. The trekking itself was worth...More

hello, I did the 3 days trekking from Kalaw to Inle lake. it's possible to do it in 2 days if you want, however they will take you by car up to a certain point and walk the rest of it. I met a girl that walked to whole distance in 2 days but it's very hard, due to the hot weather and I guess you will have to pay probably a bit more.

Hello! We did the trek in mid-October and had no rain at all. Some spots were muddy but very manageable. I am not sure how much the transportation would be, but by bus it should be around 2000-3000 if I compare to what we paid to go from Inle to Heho. There is an entrance fee at the Lake of 12,500 kyats per person, and most agencies do not include this in their rates. The trek was pleasant, we had very good food and a good guide. Have fun!
