Just excellent. Stayed in a triple room with private bathroom. Owner is very kind and wants to do anything she can to help you. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Internet in the lobby/breakfast room was quick.

This guesthouse does not convince through prettiness, but an unbelievably good service. We arrived in the afternoon and wanted to leave for trekking the next day. As you have to have a hotel reservation before departure (the luggage is transported directly to your destination), the Golden Kalaw Inn assisted us with finding the best & cheapest hotel, made the reservation...

The beds were pretty comfortable and the staff was very helpful in regards to providing suggestions on things to do. I had an overnight bus they charged $5 but was able to get a bed. Breakfast is included think it's a fair price. Only one shower for the dorms upstairs of 2 rooms of 5-6 beds.

Good for one night before Inle trek. For this price, in March 2017, it's probably the best you can get in Kalaw. Breakfast is ok (eggs, watermelon, bread, coffee or tea). Friendly staff (except night staff, not very nice).

The owner is very friendly and helpful, she gave me good tips of places to eat, sightseeing in Kalaw and agencies to book the trek to Inle Lake. The laundry service is quite expensive (they charge per piece of clothes). No lockers and internet only works on the reception. The breakfast is good (eggs, fruit, toasts and coffee/tea). Not enough...

Read some bad things about this place, but still booked it because it's cheap. I left this place very satisfied! Very nice beds, hot shower, great breakfast included, very handy citymap for free and lots of good advise. What you need more!

Very nice clean rooms. The staff are very nice, especially the woman at the front, she will essentially give you an entire days itenary if you want. Breakfast is pretty good. Only down side is the wifi only works on the ground floor. We needed wifi and took a ground floor room, but it is loud (as they had warned...

Very good location for all kinds of activities around Kalaw. Close to a lot of Restaurants. There's a small shop over the road. Perfect for getting some beers before enjoying the sunset on the rooftop of the Hotel. The owner is very friendly and helpfull with organizing hiking tours, Taxis, bus tickets etc. She always offers her help. Also, she...

Friendly staff and good view over Kalaw from the rooftop. Unfortunately my room wasn't the cleanest and the shower partly broken. Also had to insist that the Hotels.com booking was prepaid. Eventually it got sorted out, but almost had to pay a second time when checking in.
