We stayed at Hasting Resort last weekend and the overall experience was amazing. While booking ,we upgraded for a suite, we thought that adding another $ 20 a day is definitely worth getting an upgraded, bigger room and we were right,I never watched a TV in the restroom, it was a first time I had a bubble bath with a glass... The lodge is nice and the grounds were beautiful, but the manager was extremely inhospitable and would rather walk his dog than look after his guests. At a resort of this type, only 13 rooms, the manager should be greeting his guests and making himself available. This manager spoke to us only once the entire weekend and that was to... More

The resort grounds are very pleasant. But the rooms are small, and I would advise to bring all your own toiletries. The grounds has alot of dog poo that has never been picked up. So if you go for a walk, watch out! The restaurant is way over-priced. Paid an extra $4.00 for one more small scallop. Crazy!! The place... More

The lodge looks nice and the staff are incredibly friendly, but there are some minor issues that some may find bothersome. The rooms are clean and the king size bed is nice. However, the noise between rooms is excessive...we could hear everything from the adjoining room and hallway which was slightly annoying (especially having kids next door.). The washroom amenities... Just spent a couple of nights here and the place is pretty and promising. The bed was comfortable, lovely to have a veranda, grounds well manicured, delicious food at the restaurant (with overpriced wine) and congenial hosts. But.....the shower was a trickle, the veranda hadn't been swept in a while, the room was very small, no breakfast offered on site,... More

We are glad to here that you say our resort is pretty, well manicured and our food is delicious. We always make sure that our grounds are well maintained for our guest. Our chef puts a lot of passion into every plate he creates. Our wine is good quality and in demand. Our lodge is made of complete eco-friendly white... More

We've just returned from a 2 night stay (with coupon) from Hastings Resort. We had an enjoyable stay, and 2 days of awesome ATVing. We found the rooms to be lacking TLC. The rooms were comfortable (king bed), but small, and lacked minor maintenance. Nicole was awesome, very helpful, friendly and seemed to never go home, and pretty much ran... More

We stayed in Hastings Resort for three nights, it was very picturious location, room was okay, but the standing shower suck, it was clogged. They have well water so bring your own water if you dont like the saltyness in water. Food was good but they need to incorporate breakfast in the menu. Tims is like 30km almost half an... More

We just got back from Hastings Resort. With our Groupon the price was $50 a night, and gave us $50 for the Steak House. At that price point everything was awesome. At the normal price I would have been disappointed. The rooms were efficient and more than adequate, but not "luxurious" (ok. King sized beds are a luxury!). We used... More

My boyfriend and I spent a few days at The Hastings Resort in mid July and had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. The rooms are small but quaint and have a cabin-like feel with modern amenities and a nice balcony with seating and a good view of the lush woods surrounding the lovely property. The grounds were very well maintained... More

The grounds of this resort are lovely. that is where the "nice" ends. Inside, the rooms are very tiny with just a bed and a flat screen tv and a VERY noisy A/c window banger. ( I got little sleep because of it.)There is not an actual chair for a guest to sit in anywhere in the entire building. To... More

Dear Brian, Your accusation of our resort being a fraud is inflammatory and actionable. The rooms have king size beds, they are far from tiny. You can’t fit a king size bed in a tiny room. Each room has a flat screen television with satellite programming, provided free of charge. The A/Cs are less than a month old, purchased brand... More
