Lovely view from the bungalow. However for 100,000 kip it was lacking. For the same price other guesthouses sounded a lot better. The owners were very friendly but the rooms were dusty, toilet needed a clean, windows were patched up with tape. There was no WiFi, fridge, restaurant, or place to buy water. Whereas other guesthouses have this for the...

We visited different guesthouses in Champasak. This was the best and the only one we saw with bungalows (with airco and private bathroom) right in front of the Mekong. Breakfast is served on your own terrace. The owner speaks a little bit English and is kind to help. The only minus is the hard mattress.

.. if; The room would be clean, The bathroom would be clean, The bed wouldn't be rock hard, The place wouldn't look abondoned (we were the only guests around), There would be a restaurant (seems that there was one in the past), They had wifi. It's a pitty because the bungalows have a really nice terrace at the back overlooking...

Stayed one night at Souchittra. It has a great view of the Mekong from the back terrace, large rooms, secure parking and is in the center of Champassak. The staff was pleasant enough but not overly friendly. He did help us with our bags and gave our son a ball to play with. The floor was dusty and needed a...

We were leaving very early in the morning to drive back to Cambodia, so we just needed a place to lay our heads for a few hours after touring Wat Phou. It's basic enough, nothing amazing. Felt clean enough. We saw no bugs, nothing was dirty, it was very basic. I did like that it felt more open-air than some...

We stayed one night in this place, and it is by far the worst guesthouse we have ever stayed in. It was very dirty, there was broken glass on the floor, and it was more like sleeping on wood instead of on a mattress. But worst of all, there were several mice in our room during the night, which ran...

I stayed here one night in order to visit Wat Pho. The location wasn't great - 3 km from the tiny town centre. It took half an hour to find a desk clerk who could check me in. Very little English is spoken. The desk manager wasn't helpful. I arrived late afternoon and was trying to figure out how to...

If one is looking for a boutique hotel with rose petals on the beds and Egyptian cotton, stay else where. If one is traveling on a backpacker budget and is looking for simple but clean accommodation, this is a great little place. My Lao buddy & I had separate rooms in a bunglaow near the reception area, his had a...

We chose this guesthouse as it seemed like the best of a bad bunch when we looked on tripadvisor. The room was dirty, the bed was rock hard and the pathway to the room wasn't too pleasant. The food in the restaurant was ok. The owner was helpful with sorting a tuk tuk to Wat Phu and a the minivan...
