Hotel Kunste was one of the smart hotels in the last ten years but when I visited i felt that there is some neglect. Although the food is not that bad, the place could do with a facelift. The staff is friendly and ready to assist. The parking space is enough and very secure. The beds are smaller than I... More

This hotel has been in operation for some time. I first visited while it was still new in the 1990s. It does not seem to have undergone much renovation since then and the style is a bit outdated. The rooms are tiny with barely room to move. My room did not have hangers. The shower was working well though. Breakfast... More

Kunste is serene in its service and location just adjacent to the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. It is a convenient place both for leisure and business. There is ample room everywhere if catching up with friends is what you are looking for away from the city hullabaloos. You can chat and eat in this serene environment riddled with a beautifully kept compound.... More

Attended a number of functions here.Nice hotel with pleasant staff.Expansive parking space all round. The Halls are a little tired looking.Feel they need revitalization.Rooms also need a bit of modernization.Food was average.Central location of hotel is one of its positive attributes.

I visited this hotel in Mar of 2014. It was located right on the Trans-African highway. Next to it is super mart - Tuskers where you can get almost anything that may be required. Next doors is a gas station so if you are driving, you do not have to worry about refills. The hotel is a little before the... More

An okay place to spend the night - efficient check-in, quiet, not very busy - nice grounds. However, not a good place to eat. In the restaurant - not many people there, poor service, food was brought to the table that we didn't order, they decided to substitute for us, not fresh and not warm! A plus: The Kachumbari (Kenyan... More

Before travelling to Kenya I made a reservation in Hotel Kunste to spend two days there. I wrote an email to the hotel and I booked four rooms for the 7th and 8th April. “We stayed in one of the "Executive suites" - a nice arrangement for a family of four (a bit of a squeeze for five), though not as grand as the name suggests. The cost was KShs 8400 per night. For us it was a very quiet and peaceful stay of three nights. I would imagine that rooms facing the Naivasha road might be suffer a bit from traffic noise; but in general it seems a very quiet setting.”
