What a gem the host Richard is. A fountain of knowledge and great stories about conservation, including some heroic work with vampire bats! He took us to feed his crocs and entertain the resident margay cat. Lovely guest house with wholesome breakfast in a quiet setting near the zoo. This is a totally unique opportunity to learn about how wildlife...

We spent a wonderful 24 hours here after our trip to Belize Zoo with our two kids. Beautiful lodgings in exquisite gardens. Fascinating seeing the work of Richard & Carol Foster first hand. It was such an education for us all on wildlife documentary making.

Richard really made us feel at home. He does everything to make you have a pleasant stay. He drives you to the zoo and the restaurant etc. But best of all are the stories he told. What an interesting couple! The rooms are great and breakfast is all you could wish for. Feeding crocs and margays was lovely. This place...

We had the place to ourselves. It was totally charming. Cozy - yet spacious - a thoroughly pleasant place to stay. Our hosts were generous with their time and knowledge. They shared videos of films they have made for National Geographic and showed us sets they created to film wildlife. Very interesting. The location was great. The price is good...

Thank you Richard and Carol !! We happened upon this place due to a last minute decision to stop at the Belize Zoo and it was by far our favorite part of the trip. The Fosters couldn't be any nicer and the house itself is a beautiful place to stay. We could go on forever about how much we loved...
