Hotel offers great choices for breakfast, lunch or supper. Rooms are clean and meeting rooms are good. This hotel is located in Sparwood, the heart of the Elk Valley where fishing, hunting, boating, sledding are a way of life. This hotel has been around for years and continues to be a staple of the community

I rented a small banquet Room for a function. The service was super! The very reasonable price that I paid included coffee, water and a wonderful selection of tea that was attractively set up! Thanks Jodene!

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and clean....wonderful bar soap. It is right by the highway (3) but that did not bother us. The restaurant was closed for renos but they had breakfast food available for us. We would stay again.

A pack of us stayed a few nights for a hockey tournament at the nearby rink. Hotel was a terrific place to stay for our group. The Waldorf Astoria? No... but, clean, friendly, efficient, helpful and helpful. Try it.

If you want a hotel with a great little restaurant that has the best seafood chowder I have ever had, pull on it. If...

We arrived at 1 A/M tired and groggy. We were greeted in a pleasant manner and were booked in no time flat. We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant 3 times and found the food very good. (I was hesitant to try the seafood chowder, but was very pleasantly surprised. Great restaurant. Very...

If you are passing through the area and are sick of A&W and Subway give the causeway a shot. I've been here dozens of times and am always happy with their food. Everything is fresh and home made right down to the bread. Great specials and deserts too! A real nice hidden gem along the highway. Decent prices too. Can't...

There are not many hotel choices in Sparwood, this is the obvious one alongside the highway. The room was of adequate size, clean, things all worked properly, including the internet. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. I ate in the restaurant in the morning, the quinoa porridge was really good---never heard of it before. And HUGE cups of pretty decent...

Stayed here for two nights to save money as opposed to paying higher prices in fernie. Was shocked at how nice it was for the price. Rooms are a good size with everything you need fridge microwave .... Beds aren't the greatest but overall pleasantly surprised. Would stay here again.

Very small town hotel and old. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms need renos, our room had the bathroom done, newer tile. Our room had two double beds, not very comfortable. We stayed two nights. If you are passing through and tired, it's okay. The bed stand table had a petrified bun in the drawer. Not good, that housekeeping missed...
