We booked this small B&B because we wanted to be close to Cape Agulhas. It was a good choice. Very friendly staff, cozy upstairs room, good bathroom, hair dryer, comfortable bed, good price. There is a pool and lounging area, braai area and a fireplace for the cooler season. There is no house wide wireless, but the owner will let...

The lodge only has 4 rooms which makes the service very personal, the staff could not do enough for you and were more than happy to spend time showing you on maps how to get to lots of lovely places we would have missed. Room was clean and quite basic which was reflected in the very reasonable tarrif.

Not much in Arniston but well worth a quick visit. Beach is glorious, long, interesting, natural, empty. Weather is marine--often too windy, misty, foggy to do much. B&B nondescript, house is old, rooms worn. Breakfast was functional. Just a few (maybe 3) restaurants in town--Arniston Hotel offered a great dinner.

My apologies for being so late with this review. We stayed here last year on our way back to Capetown at the end of our trip. The weather turned very stormy, a gale really, when we headed into Arniston. But what a find was waiting for us! Big log fire, lovely warm welcome, cosy snug room with a wonderful view...

Arniston was our first stop from Cape Town, and we had a really warm welcome at Arniston Lodge. We were visiting in low season, and Arniston seemed completely deserted - we had the B&B to ourselves. Lovely spacious room, a pool (didn't use it but looked lovely), nice communal and bar area downstairs; and a delicious breakfast (including home-made banana...

B&B is situated in the beautiful town of Arniston, idealling situated to visit Cape L'Agualus and also 2 nearby nature reserves. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering advice on the attractions of the area and the best places to eat. I stayed in a lovely single room under the thatched roof for 1 night and wished it was...

Looking for somewhere to stay not far from Cape Aghulas, we chose Arniston Lodge on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. There is very little in Arniston apart from a couple of B&Bs, one hotel (where we had to go for an evening meal), and the old village of Kassiesbaai. Arniston Lodge was very much what we expected. As other...

Very characteristic small hotel in Arniston. All in wood: cosy and charming. Arniston is definetly a place to visit: white beaches and blue waters, not far from Cape Town.

Arniston featured in Time Out’ top 10 hideaway locations and its easy to see why… so ssshhh don’t tell anyone. This place is a fantastic coastal village a few miles from the southern most tip of Africa. The Arniston Lodge is easily found as you drive into the village. This is a small B & B run by Erwin and...

We arrived in Arniston without accomodation. This B&B was very welcoming. We were shown 2 rooms one downstairs which was clean and pleasantly decorated and one upstairs with a thatched roof and a view of the sea and the village of Kassisbaai. The room was spacious and the en-suite pleasant and clean. We had a very comfortable night. I mentioned...
