We stayed at this hotel for a few nights on our honeymoon. We should have heeded the three star rating and ignored the flashy website. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and told our room was upstairs. Seeing as it was our honeymoon, we booked the "comfy luxe" room. There was nothing luxe about this room, and the bathroom...

A very very good hotel. Rooms excellent. Stayed for 3 nights. The Copper Dog bar/restaurant is excellent. Nice atmosphere (live music on the Wednesday night we were staying), the food was exceptional, great beer and whisky. The whisky bar upstairs has an amazing selection but is a bit dull. Like drinking in the Scottish National Library. I would head downstairs...

We stayed DBB and were blown away by how fantastic this hotel was! It has undergone a major refurb and is stunning! Although in a lightly populated area of the Highlands/Speyside, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in a swish city haunt for those who want to be seen, without being too busy in the restaurant/pub, The Copper...

First time at this hotel, very very nice indeed, clean and comfy, the restaurant served up wonderful meals throughout the day, exquisite seafood and produce from neighboring areas. The Whisky Bar is out of this world, simply need to come back to try more of the hundreds of bottles available for tasting.

This hotel is worth every penny - from the staff to the facilities to the nice little touches. My room and bathroom were gorgeous with lovely furnishings but I was most impressed with the little extras - Scottish tablet, shortbread and a cafetiere with fresh coffee for two. There was even an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. The...

I don't ever really review anywhere but thought this gorgeous hotel deserved it. Mostly a good review but there were a few things left us slightly disappointed. Start with the goods. My husband booked us in here for the night for my 30th birthday as we have drove past for years & I've always wanted to stay. Nice swift check...

I spent 2 nights at the Craigellachie in January - freezing days and nights and moderate snow flurries (what some more southern dwellers call heavy snow). Very welcoming at the Craig as usual and perfectly cozy inside. Bedrooms are very fresh, bright and clean and well appointed, having gone through a thorough refurbishment several years ago. Lovely Scottish breakfast too...

I was on a distillery exploration when I stayed at here. Craigellachie kept me immersed in the romance of Whisky at the end of each day, and long into the nights. It is beautiful in all respects. The bedroom was lovely, the food very good and the building is fantastic. The bar has a vast selection of Whiskey's to help...

We had afternoon here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great selection of sandwiches, including venison and beetroot, brie on toasted bread, etc, plus cakes - fruit cake, carrot cake and battenburg, mincemeat tarts, macaroons, plus shot glasses full of dark chocolate mousse, blueberry crème brulee, 2 different types of scone served with butter, marmalade and cream, all washed down...
