Stayed here for two nights during a 10 day road trip of Scotland. I can easily say this was the best hotel experience. I can't recommend it enough. The place is warm and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you're lucky...More
The hotel is in a great location, beautiful scenery all around.
Old-style building, well refurbished. Room was simply furnished, but comfortable and cosy - bedding, linen & toiletries were all of superb quality.
Where this hotel really rates highly is on service, which was superb...More

the painting was not the problem for us , it was the poor attitude , road noise ( which cannot be avoided ) , the dirty rooms , restaurant and bar . We visited the Station hotel in Rothes at the weekend & the ambience , service & dining was of a far far higher standard . but if you book to stay book a suite towards the back as it is also on the road . The cooperage at Aberlour is definitely worth a visit & Glenfiddich visitor centre .. further afield Elgin Cathedral ( ancient ruins ) & Lossiemouth beach / walk to lighthouse is wonderful too . have a great trip .
