Very comfortable, and made to feel extremely welcome. Home made brownies and cookies were lovely and Nancy is a wonderful host. So many places locally to eat as well, Nancy's recommendations are worth listening to!

I haven't stayed overnight at the manor but have used it several times for meetings and workshops. An excellent venue and much liked by participants. Plenty of space to meet and for break-out discussion and nice grounds to walk around. All the usual meeting materials available e.g. flip charts, paper etc. and Nancy will go out of her way to...

Stayed here for one night while relocating to Swindon. Lovely and friendly welcome with offer of tea and coffee with homemade cake. Was also given a little jar of cookies, all of which were absolutely scrumptious! Bedroom and shower room a generous size and to a high standard. Very clean. Lovely surroundings. Breakfast was excellently cooked with a good selection...

My father-in-law and I stayed here for one night before the Royal International Air Tattoo 2016. The location is idyllic, the accommodation was clean, homely, comfortable and as much as you could ask for when staying away from home. Nancy the owner was a great host, very polite and attentive and made us feel very much at home. The homemade...

Stayed in July 2016. Nancy was there to warmly welcome us after flawless communication during booking process. The rooms are part of a wonderfully preserved Manor House that has been in her family for generations, with a great pride in maintaining this lovely home. Everything here is five star and the service is six star! Nothing was too much trouble...

This is a beautiful family home which has been decorated to five star hotel standard. We loved all the details but what really made it special was Nancy's hospitality. All the linen and toiletries were sumptuous with feather as standard - so it is worth flagging any allergies at point of booking

Stayed in early March for one night (did the same just before Christmas). The house itself is a wonderful old farmhouse, huge rooms, all mod cons, yet very much what you would expect to see in Country Life Magazine. The service is great, evening meals and drinks if you wish, and the breakfasdt was to die for - Nancy is...

Stayed here for one night and as soon as I arrived I felt at home, thanks to a warm welcome from Nancy. I was upgraded to a room with a four post bed as there had been a cancellation. Room was very clean and cosy, with Teapigs provided instead of the usual Tetley/PG Tips you get given by popular hotel...

A mile or so down a track and you turn into the driveway for Overtown Manor. A wonderful old manor house with a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms were tastefully decorated with lots of period features, very clean, appointed to a very high standard. Coffee on arrival (with Mince Pies) was a very nice treat. In the evening i...
