The Old Rectory is located close to Broseley and more than a quick walk away from Ironbridge. We arrived mid afternoon hoping to leave our luggage and car and go and explore Ironbridge - access to the rooms however is not permitted until after 1600 ! When we did get into the room we found it to be well appointed...

Over an Easter bank holiday weekend , we were not able to get technical support for the Wi-Fi (now running perfectly again ) or get a plumber out. sorry that it took the shine off your weekend. we publish opening hours on all websites. perhaps you missed that. best regards David

The welcome was warm, the room exactly as in the photo, and the breakfast was enormous! The huge Jacuzzi bath looked brand new and was welcome after a cold drizzly day looking around the area, which, despite the rain, was beautiful.

My wife and I stopped here in room 4, the Wrekin room, for one night. It's absolutely spotless, in a very peaceful location, but within distance of Ironbridge and all local amenities. The four poster bed is one of the comfiest we've slept in, and the layout of the room is lovely. The breakfast is very nice, and pretty big,...

My husband surprised me to a weekend away and brought me to this guest house. My first impression from the outside seemed just another nice country house, but then as soon as we walked in the front door I was completely amazed how beautiful inside was. We was greeted by the owner who was so polite and welcoming. He took...

We arrived a bit early, check in was 4pm, we sat in the car and a staff member came to ask if we would like to come and check in. This was a very good first impression! We said we were going to the Thai restaurant for an evening meal and were asked if we had booked. On being told...

Intending to visit the Ironbridge Gorge museums, we thought it might be a good idea to stay for the weekend. There isn't a massive amount of accommodation thereabouts but we finally decided upon The Old Rectory, mainly because of all the positive reviews on tripadvisor. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by David. Our room was quite delightful; spacious, very...
